Drinks are okay, but interesting vibe… interesting set of people too. Their lattes are not recommended — European hot chocolate is okay, not sweet. Hot apple cider is good too. All in all despite them being a coffee shop their coffee drinks are below par. Wifi is free, no passwords required, pleasantly fast and I was able to get a lot of work done. Plenty of seats available in and out(I’d say about 15 seats inside). Bathroom is clean, which I appreciate very very much:))) Board games for those of u who come as a group looking to kill time. I don’t remember if they had outlets to charge laptops… but a lot of people were there doing work. Cool also that they have books you can pick up and read. The neighborhood offers plenty of street parking.

Good strong coffee along with pleasant staff. Prices are fair and reasonable. The atmosphere is pretty hipster. People use this location for wifi and business meetings.

This was a nice little stop to pick up some coffee and a sweet treat. I would like to see a bit more diversity on the menu however. I enjoyed this spot very much.

The Spiced Chai Tea latte is the best I’ve ever had. I’m addicted and I come here way too often. Somebody please help!

Tanners reminds me a lot of a pacific northwest café. Between pronounced wooden furniture, comfy non-table chairs, obscure art, and a group of committed regulars, Tanners has it going on. The baristi on staff were very positive, extroverted, and ready to get creative with their artisan coffee. I ordered my normal ‘show me what you’re made of’ drink, the Almond-milk semi-sweet Mexican mocha. They, like most café in the area, don’t have cayenne hanging around, which is a minor trajedy… but luckily I pack my own around. The drink was very good! I am impressed, and between the quality, service, and environment, this spot wins out for favorite café in this neighborhood.

First of all, a single barista was running the whole place like a well-oiled machine, so kudos to you girlfriend. They have almond milk, a great relaxed vibe, and one of the best london fogs I’ve ever had. Will be back!

Shame on me for going back after my first cup incident. A great cup of coffee served in a crappy cup. I was in Culver City almost two weeks ago and ordered a drip to go and had a difficult time getting the lid to stay on after adding cream, just as the barista did before she handed it to me. Today, the fit was worse and when I went to pick it up after placing it my cars cup holder, coffee went into my center console. My friggin car smells like ridiculous. Not to mention the time it took me to clean it out and the additional money I spent buying coffee in a real cup at CBTL. I guess it’s partially my fault for not being environmentally conscience and providing my own damn mug. Three stars instead of two… the staff is always great. FWIW… I am down to pay an extra $ 0.25 for a legit cup.

Small, quaint coffee shop. Interior is interesting and a little old, but it’s nice. There are a good amount of outlets, but table space for actual work is limited– if you don’t mind having a lower coffee table you’ll be fine. Only got to try the coffee of the day(Ethiopian) and it was solid, flavorful but not overwhelming. It was cheap too, a large only came out to $ 2.25

Tanner’s is what a local coffee shop should feel like. Not corperate like the normal chains. Every time I walk in it makes me hate a Starbucks or Coffee Bean that much more(although I do occasionally go). The baristas are almost always great and appreciate the positive feedback. 4 stars for the rare barista human error, but nothing that should stop anyone from going and enjoying.

I have friends that live in Culver City. One of them being a huge coffee fiend! I finally gave this place a go & I was not disappointed. Location: the parking is very limited. They only have about 3 – 4 spots assigned to them. There is street parking but I would be careful & read the signs posted. Service: the service was great! My reviews are mainly depended on service. The barista was very nice. She gave me recommendations. She’s informed me of the coffee of the day, what each special holiday drink had, etc. I ordered a bagel & a medium vanilla latte nonfat milk. It was delicious. I will definitely be back! Vibe: nothing but good vibes. Everyone is either studying, reading the newspaper(yes! They still exist!), or surfing the web. I love that Tanners has surfboards hanging as artwork, couches, & their chairs are interesting! Nothing matches(furniture wise) but it works for them! 4 stars only because of parking.

Props to the cashier for being kind and patient with all my coffee questions as I pretty much never ever drink coffee and needed to bug her with what is blended vs. regular. 5-stars to her! However, I didn’t find their drinks amazing and my white chocolate mocha blended was too sweet. It was a bit annoying there were not any seats except for the couch and I never really trust public couches, so many germs get stuck in there! So we tried sitting outside since a customer inside kept giving my friend’s 6-month old baby son weird stares. Once outside these hooligans wouldn’t stop smoking. I mean, «C’mon, there’s a BABY! Have the common courtesy to put out your cigarette.» To top it all off, there were some young college kids in the parking lot who would not move and let me park my car – they were not even customers! Ehh, Tanners would be nice except for all these variables which make it unpleasant. It’s the neighborhood I blame, not the coffee shop.

Waiting on my cousin to grab dinner. Found this local place and heard about the great wi-fi! Ambiance Parking: On a Saturday evening there were a quite a few street parking(pay by meter but free later in the evenings). Seating: * Outside seating, even a couch! Inside is stuffed and cozy with different vibes. It can probably house 25 ranging from couches, tables, high chairs and bar setup. Feels: * I enjoyed the 80 alternative playing in the back. Once again a cozy place to catch up with a friend or to get work done. It was a diverse group filled with millenials studying or some old people playing some chess. You can check out the local art for your creative juices to flow, borrow a book from them, or even people/car watch outside. Food: European Hot Chocolate(Recommend) It’s a unique taste, kinda like flavors from a toblerone. Good taste if you want something from hte alternative hot chocolate Customer Service: Friendly greeting and reasonable service. Kudos! Overall: 4 stars. I had a pretty good experience here. My drink was good, I digged the music, and got some work done. I heard great things about their menu and look forward to going to this place again. TL;DR Tips: * Wi-FI is greeeeat!

A good coffee shop needs the following: 1. Fast wifi 2. Strong coffee drinks 3. Ample seating Tanner’s Coffee has all of the above. I managed to spend an entire afternoon here while the strong coffee kept me wide awake.

A great spot for reading, studying, and chilling. Location and Parking: Rear parking lot or street parking. Not too difficult to find a spot. Ambiance: Nice vibes. Casual but quiet. Great place to read, write, and think. :) They do provide a bunch of outlets for laptops, so bring your laptop! If you like to read, you can just simply grab a book from the selves and read for free! Enjoy! Food and Drinks: Simple meals are available as well as a full list of drinks. I like their bagel sandwiches. Oh, don’t forget to order a cup of coffee!

I haven’t been back in a couple months, but stopped by today. I miss this place. I have been all over the city at other coffee places, and this is still my favorite. Feels almost like home. Wonderful employees. They remember your order and ask if you want the regular. Good prices, too. I love the bagels and all the desserts they offer. Big enough to find a place to sit, but not too big that the noise is overwhelming. I can work here all day and have several times.

This coffee shop is so cute! I came here with the hubby mid day because I wanted coffee and a snack and it ended up being a great choice. The coffee is really good, and even the sandwiches they have are pretty good also.

This was a great spot, ran into it while getting a massage down the street and needed a small snack. We walked in and ordered the lox bagel, it was amazing. The coffee was very good as well. Great spot to get a pick me up or even a snack. Havent tried pastries just yet but they also looked real good. I will be back for sure since it is somewhat in my neighborhood.

I like this little coffee spot! I was able to stop by today before work and not too shabby. Easy street parking, but you just have to remember to pay for your spot. It’s about $ 1/hr so not too bad! Good, fast service and it really is a cozy little spot if you need to get some work done. — Iced latte: Good amount of caffeine and not sweet. just the way I like it. — Spinach and cheese croissant: Pretty big for a croissant and so cheesy and delicious. Mmmm. — The big fish bagel: Their version of a lox bagel. It comes with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, tomatoes, red onions. Yum Oh, their credit card machine was broken for awhile, but it is now fixed! YAY for all the people like myself that always forget to carry cash.
