Food is decent at best, dry kabobs and side salad for a bird. Amazing how they up charge on dining in, and the portions are less! Terrible experience with the family of 5 with little ones. Stick to Chicken Maison or Pars for all you local cats out there.

I just moved to area and after going to many Persian restaurants, this is one of my favorites! I love the owner John was so nice, he’s always smiling! They offered me delicious Persian tea! I love the kabobs! Their meat is great quality and the restaurant is very clean! I am now a regular!

Tried this for dinner because was near our hotel. Felt like I walked into someone’s messy house. Messy layout, couches(seriuosly?), floors were dirty, waitstaff was disinterested and didn’t understand concept of service, and the food was overly greasy. Persian rice shouldn’t be greasy and good koobideh shouldn’t either. It didn’t look like they used real saffron either.

Nick P. suggested this place for lunch as it was close to his work and Batteries Plus Bulbs, where I needed to pick up a battery for my Galaxy S4(RIPS6). I’m not sure why this place was so poppin’ as the average review is 3-stars and I whole-heartedly agree with it. I got the chicken kebobs and while that was decent, I really wasn’t impressed and the overall meal wasn’t very memorable. What I do remember is how much I hated the complimentary pita bread. It was served cold(with butter of all things), super thin, and had a consistency of paper. Nick ordered hummus to go with it, but honestly the hummus only slightly improved the bread. It was awful. I’m pretty sure I’d never come back, even if I’m nearby.

Most definitely a drug front. I came in. Ordered chicken kebob. Gave her a $ 20. She said she had no change. I asked what I could do and she said get change next door. I went and got change next door and came back. She said $ 17.51 and I said ok you have no change. Do I give you $ 17 or $ 18. And she said $ 18. No change so why not up charge the customer. Oh. The kebob looked good though.

WoW! And ORGANIC!!! I was really hungry and didn’t want the same old stuff… So I drove by and on a fluke decided to give it a try. I was warmly greeted with a smile! I love that! So, after a few questions I decided on the Aush soup, which in my language is Lentil Soup… YUMNOMNOMNOM! It was new, refreshing, and full of flavor… Plus, I had probably the BEST Tabouli I have had in years… FRESH ingredients, NOTSMOOSHEDTOGETHER but lightly mixed. After I ate I actually smiled and was happy I stopped here. I left a great tip because the service matched the food. Parking can be tricky, but I have a parking anointing and ALWAYS find a spot. LOL! Love love love this place! Very affordable considering the freshness and plating. PLUS! They have a CATERINGMENU! This is where I’m coming the next time I have a gathering!

Stopped by for a quick dinner before catching a movie. Their service was speedy and decent. I can’t say that the food tremendous, but it wasn’t bad either. Very decent meat kabobs for the area. Parking can be tight and is pretty limited as they share the small lot with another restaurant.

Came in for lunch and tried lamb shank(it’s not in lunch menu but the chef was nice enough to accommodate me) and it was quite good! Kabob was tender and delicious too. It’s not a place you’ll drive across the city for but if you live close by and feel like getting some decent Persian food, check it out!

I went to Reyhan Persian Grill on July 31st, 2015 for lunch with a friend. We took the Beef Kodibeh Kabob, the smoked salmon Kabob, and a chicken wrap, and we had the pleasant surprise of receiving pretty large meals. Unfortunately, the food had almost no taste and the rice that it came with was not cooked in any special way, which is what the waiter led us to believe when we ordered. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived(It was about 1pm on a Friday) so there was absolutely no wait to be seated. The service was decently fast and nice but the restaurant is small and the tables are very close to each other which makes you feel a little claustrophobic inside… The restaurant is located right next to the 405 and 10 highways which makes it easy to access. Unfortunately, the restaurant shares an extremely tight lot with other places, so parking can be challenging depending on the time of the day. Overall, my experience with Reyhan Persian Grill could have been better and I would not recommend it. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

Ok, no I decided to come here with my fiancé because of a sign on Jefferson for a kabob $ 6.99. As soon as we arrived there was no parking and he had to park across the street, no big deal. When we walked up it almost looked closed because all of the outside chairs were stacked up and nobody was inside except one waiter, but we went inside. We sat down and were given the menu, and there was no kabob for $ 6.99. The cheapest plate was a falafal plate for $ 10.99, but most plates ranged from $ 15-$ 23. The waiter was polite and we ordered our food. My fiancé tried to order a plate with green beans and a koobideh kabob, but they were out of the green beans so she had to choose something. As we waited for our food my fiancé and I talked about the pricy menu for relatively inexpensive food. My fiancé said, «for $ 15 this plate better be amazing». When we received our food it looked alright, and it tasted good as well. To be honest though, the food on our plates couldn’t have cost them more than $ 3-$ 4. My plate only came with 4 small pieces of shish kabob meat, which definitely shouldn’t have cost $ 16. Also, their menus state that they do not accept groupon and charge 18% if social media coupons are used, and that was disappointing. Mostly for them because those are ways they can bring people into their business. All in all, we weren’t wowed by the food and definitely not the prices. We would rather go to Zankou and get the same food for more reasonable prices plus pita bread and garlic sauce, not to mention more variety and better tasting food. We will not be visiting this restaurant again. Both of us were disappointed. I really hope they see this review so that they may improve their business.

Reyhan(«Fresh Basil») is a hole-in-the-wall gem in Culver City. Let me start by saying that the owner, Frank, makes his hummus twice daily to ensure its freshness — that to me is food made with love and dedication(the best there is). The restaurant makes all foods with fresh ingredients and gives customers healthy options such as Aush and Barley soup.(For those who only eat halal, this place is halal!) Kabobs are melt in your mouth — try the chicken kabob, vegetables are perfect(not soggy or too raw), and the rice is wonderfully moist with a tinge of yellow at the top: simple, beautiful and delicious. I definitely recommend to give Reyhan a try. If you like it enough, you can even use it as your party caterer(they cater too!)! With Ramadan around the corner, this is a safe bet! What more can you ask for — healthy, tasty,(halal) and cheap.

this restaurant to me is fraudulent. They took the money from Groupon and then would not honor the groupon coupon saying they no longer had a contract with them even though the date on the coupon was still very valid. they were extremely rude about it and said that Groupon was ripping me off which I know isn’t true. Another friend also had similar problems with them. I would not eat at a restaurant which treats their customers in such a way and was rude to boot.

Entered a dirty, empty and disheveled restaurant, after calling out for help for several minutes and receiving no response, we left and asked the Mexican restaurant next door if they knew what was going on at the Persian place. The host at the Mexican restaurant referred me to Roberto the manager of the four restaurants that sit on the corner property. Roberto instructed us to head into the Italian restaurant and that he would have the Persian food delivered over there. I asked him if we could use our coupon and he declined and said that was corrupt and that he would not be accepting our coupon. What a waste of time, although very thankful that we probably saved ourselves from a bout of nocturnal diarrhea from the filthy kitchen. Parking is also a nightmare. NEVERAGAIN!

Ok, let me start by saying the food was good. Now, the rest of the story. We had a deal to try this place and had heard and read good reviews so we made the trek out to Culver City to try it out. Parking? Parking is a pain. The lot is small and a couple of the spots are actually double stack which is odd in the least for a place of business. We drove around the block a couple times and caught a car leaving on the Main Street. It was 7pm on Saturday night and despite a sign that showed they were open until 10 the lights were off and the sign said closed, but the door was open. We spoke to a cook who said to go into the Italian restaurant next door. It was odd, but ok, we went over and the person we spoke to said yes it was right and to come in. She proceeded to tell us that ownership was changing and that’s why it was in flux. Ok, we thought. We looked at the menu for about 10 – 15 minutes before the over-worked waitress returned to take our order. Essentially, everything we wanted to order was not available and despite a 2-sided menu only 4 items were available to order. I wanted to walk out, but we ordered 1 of the items. They brought us some Italian bread and oil, but have no pitas despite offering Persian food. After about 20 minutes our food came; it was not what we ordered. Now, I have to go back a bit. They were going back over to the closed restaurant to get our Persian food because they were an Italian place with their own kitchen so they were constantly going in-and-out the front door. She finally brought our food and apologized for all the delay and issues. She was a sweet girl and over-worked and whomever decided on the way this is operated should be fired. On top of that, this was an alternate-Persian location was an Italian wine bar that you’d go to for a date night, but some group had 3 rowdy 3−5yo children who were running around the place like it was Chuckie Cheese and no one said a word. All-in-all, the food was good, but there is not a reason in the world for us to return. You generally promote yourself via these mobile/online deals to get people aware of your business, but this is not what you should want your guest to experience. It was 3x the costs of better Persian places(after the $ 30 off deal) and delivered me no reason to return or be willing to pay more for less.
