Sometimes I eat at the huddle sometimes I don’t. Sometimes they don’t cook the shrimp and sometimes they don’t toast the toast but sometimes they make good food. They have a new chef and from the looks of it they are actually breaking out(tattered and worn and on display) Wolfgang Puck cookbooks from the 80’s. I trust any man fathered and or mentored by the world renowned Wolfgang. The new sandwich station is one of the best additions since the renovation(but on the other hand I know a cemitas poblanas truck around the corner that will put any sandwich to shame) and the salad bar has undergone serious improvements. They make some creative options here including healthy choices and BBQ on Fridays however they no longer cook on an actual BBQ(due to the building managers concerns for fire damage maybe the building manager should stop BBQing at his own home due to his concerns for fire damage, it’s a gas grill… ridiculous). They also do Sushi weekly and the fish they use is quite fresh(if you can even say that about fish these days).

The food is pretty delicious but what makes me upset is the cashier! This guy is incredibly rude every time I order. I consider myself to be a polite person and don’t like to write bad reviews but something needs to be done! Oh and by the way an hour before they close… They are mopping the floor and you have to be careful when you walk in… I’ve almost slipped a few times and last but not least they close out the register so you can’t pay with cash and are forced to pay by credit card. Pretty inconvenient and inconsiderate… What kind of a business is this?

Shrimp quesadilla was disgusting! There was a very small amount of cheese lumped in the middle, none on the sides and it was like they threw a pound of small thawed shrimp over it all. Definitely stay away from that. Besides that I’ve only had the bacon and egg breakfast with hashbrowns and it was ok.

Well, what can I say. The fries are pretty awesome, but for the love of God, the chicken is DRY! So dry. Which makes for quite the chewy experience. I have no idea what they do to it, but they must be freezing it and microwaving it, because it’s just downright gross. And I’m not that picky. Today I had the«Rick’s Special» which was a dish with chicken, tomato, broccoli and spinach. Kinda simple, but seemingly healthy, I figured. But the chicken was almost unbearable to eat. I also once tried the chicken wrap and it was the same thing. I actually threw it out after a few bites. That bad. I think the other food items may be somewhat okay. Not sure. I will keep trying stuff and report back. But I really hope they can fix the chicken catastrophe that’s going on in there :/Yuck.
