Clara’s Beauty Salon

I really like going to Clara’s for haircuts and have been going there for years. I initially went to Clara because she is in my neighborhood, could typically take me as a walk-​in, and had excellent prices for haircuts. The quality of the haircuts are consistently good and I leave feeling better looking than when I got there. I would give five stars, but the prices have really increased over the years and haven’t seemed consistent. They also aren’t really posted anywhere, so it is better to ask before getting the service. I never know how much she will charge for the exact same service I get each time. That being said, the hair cuts are quality and the prices are not over-​the-​top, so I often recommend this salon to friends.

Reasonable price. Good area. I got a haircut and my hair dyed by a lady named olga. She was really nice and did a good job. Would come again :)

Clara is very friendly. she was very attentive to my daughter’a requests, and we were very pleased with the results. Excellent cost-​benefit.

I’ve been coming to Clara for a couple of years now. I come to her for eye-​lash perming, hair cuts, and hair perms… yes, I still perm my hair. She does a great job — people think my hair is naturally curly. And when I want the straight look she’ll blow it out for me.
I’ve never used her for an up-​do (because I’ve had no need for one) but I’ve seen her do it on others and they look great. She has a photo album of up-do’s she has done personally and I thumb through it sometimes while sitting in her chair.
Clara is very friendly and will do exactly what you ask her to. She will sometimes suggest other services or products but she is never pushy or aggressive about it.
Her prices are very reasonable.
She accepts credit and debit cards, but the service she uses adds a fee (a small percentage of the entire payment due) that she passes along to her customers. So I always try to pay her with cash. She does not accept checks.
There is usually plenty of metered parking out front. She does has a small parking lot behind her store that fits 4-​cars, though it’s tandem parking.

Clara is very friendly and very hospital, prices are really reasonable. She really took her time and did a great job. She really cares of what she does and makes you feel at home.
