Because of food restrictions I can’t eat out very often. But every once in a while I say f*ck it I want something delicious –damn the consequences! I will research and look for high rates spots yet 9 times out of 10 my food is underwhelming — which sucks when I can only risk it once in a while and it sucks to be sick from something that wasn’t even worth it. Why am I telling you this? Because when I do find a place where my cheat day is worth it — it makes me so very happy! And this is def one of those rare spots. I got the pasta dish that had a cream and truffle sauce with heavenly little pasta pillows filled with mushrooms. It was so delicious and they topped it with fresh tomatoes which was the perfect balance to the sauce. The bread they bring out is literally fresh out of the oven and delicious as well. The service was great, everyone is nice and the atmosphere is nice as well. I highly recommend and I will be there on my next cheat day.

Delicious. Free and reasonable delivery fee through EAT24. Prompt delivery. Reasonable prices. My second time ordering, and both orders have been consistently good and prompt.

Great service, great food! The owner personally checks in on your table frequently & does the work of the servers & bussers, which says a lot. He’s invested in your experience.

The food was good, the location convenient. We found street parking easily. The service was great and the bread – amazing! I’m not giving it 5 stars because the pasta didn’t blow me away but it was really good. I want to go back for their«date night» and«girls night out» thing they have posted on the menu.

We ate here for dinner. We started with a mushroom and cheese appetizer that was tasty, and excellently presented. I had cannelloni and my wife had manicotti. Both were piping hot in oval shaped oven baking dishes. The pasta looked and tasted freshly made. The service was very good. The menu was extensive and very reasonably priced with the average entrée being ~$ 17. They had a good choice of specials. All the food was artfully presented. Each round of bread was a small loaf that was warmed and tasted freshly baked. We did not have desert, but they looked lovely. The wine by the glass selection was good and they had a extensive wine list, with an average price of ~$ 80/bottle.

I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food. Two days ago I stopped by to have a salad for lunch. Ended up with food poisoning. Just to be clear, I had a Caesar’s salad with chicken. I was extremely sick and vomiting within 2 hours and had severe stomach issues that lasted for two days. I will never, for any reason, go back to this place again. Beware!

The first thing is the staff is very friendly. We shared a soft shell crab salad. I had the veal scaloppine which was good but not the best I have had. The veal could have been a little mor tender. The sauce was similar to a piccata but it had a little too much lemon for my taste. My friend had the Osso Buco which he enjoyed.

I have been there several time so this review is not based on one just visit. Each and every time they managed to be PERFECT starting with the service, the dishes, the desert and the vine. And I mean PERFECT! If Leonardo da Vinci said that«simplicity is the ultimate sophistication» well the food that we had was like that. Service: polite, fast, knowledgeable, simply a pleasure. Food: authentic Italian(you will occasionally hear Italians speaking in the restaurant), cooked just right(not too much, not too little), tasty, flavorful. Don’t be afraid to explore or to order something new, it will be worth it. Desert: Moscato Brunello di Montalcino(no connection with the restaurant) with a peach ice-cream served inside a peach(peach of course imported from Italy). Perfect finish. We will be back for sure.

Lovely Italian place on the corner of Washington Blvd a block from La Cienega. We frequent this place a few times a year. Very reasonable and nice Italian food. Great home made bread to start your meal with some yummy olive oil. I ordered the Chicken parmigiana was was very good. My wife ordered the lobster pasta which was outstanding and my son had the salmon pasta which was very good too. The wife had a couple glasses of Italian wine and we were out of there under $ 100!

Brunello is a really cozy little Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and prices are very fair for the quality of the food and the ambiance, which is classy but quaint and cozy. Service is decent, and they have a large selection of pastas, pizzas and proteins so satisfy any craving for Italian. I first ventured to Brunello a few years ago for DineLA. We were lured in by the tasty offerings on the dinner menu and the $ 29 price point. I still remember my spaghetti with clams was perfect, and our dining party was impressed with the caliber of food for the below average price. Years later, Brunello still offers delicious Italian favorites at great prices and is a favorite spot for me and my friends. It’s hard to go wrong with any of the pasta offerings. The truffle risotto is flavorful, decadent and comforting. The chicken and fish dishes are packed with flavor and served with perfectly seasoned veggies. The bruschetta appetizer is one of the best I’ve had: gloriously charred bread topped generously with fresh and perfectly seasoned tomatoes. I also love their house made tiramisu. The flourless chocolate served warm and a’la mode is one of my favorite desserts of all time. Service can be hit or miss. They have a great wine list, but sadly, they are not always in supply of what they offer. This last visit, I asked to order a bottle of prosecco for the table, requesting a label from the wine menu and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy and retorted they don’t serve prosecco. Really? Be sure to make reservations through Open Table if you plan to dine on the weekends! Parking can be a doozy, but we’ve always managed to find a spot in the residential side streets.

I came here for lunch during Dine LA and everything was fantastic. I had the Caesar salad and pizza capricciosa(black olives, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, mozzarella). The Caesar had homemade dressing and croutons on it and was one of the best classic Caesars I’ve ever had. My friends had the bruschetta and arugula salad. Both were good as well. The pizza was amazing and quite a bit of food! I’d say two people could each have a salad and then split a pizza. The service was top notch– waters were consistently refilled, our waitress checked in on us, and plates were promptly cleared. They also removed and boxed up our leftovers for us at the end. They have a large rectangular bar in the center of the restaurant and a TV attached to it. The TV was on and playing the Food Network, but no volume, so it was not distracting. Parking was metered on the street. That normally is not an issue. This restaurant was actually originally recommended to me by an Italian and they definitely delivered. I think the prices are very reasonable for the establishment(nicer) and food. I would go here again.

This is a family owned, tasty Italian place in the happening spot of Culver City. I had the lobster rigatoni special, which I’d highly recommend if you’re there on Wednesday. It was very flavorful and rich with spicy complexities of flavor. The pasta tasted really fresh and was perfectly al dente, which is just the way I like it. The pasta itself was extremely tasty and stands out the most. I also ordered the tiramisu and absolutely loved it. Service was great as well. If I’m in the area, I would like to visit this place a few more times and try other different dishes before I form a final impression of it. From first impressions, I would recommend it.

Cozy Italian spot with great tasting food and good service. There’s really only street parking around the restaurant, so it can be difficult to find a spot. However, there’s not many other restaurants directly around the place, so at off hours, parking may not be as big of an issue. The interior has a warm and cozy ambiance with plenty of seating. They have a bar/counter in the middle as well with a tv. The service is good. Constantly refilling waters and removing dirty plates. No complaints there. Been here several times, and I must say the food is solid all around. Good appetizers, pizza, pasta and entrees. They also have a good dessert selection. Recently we tried the Petto di Pollo Limone, which was very good, as well as the Paccheri all’Aragosta. Both were good, but the Aragosta was especially good. It had a nice cream sauce that was not overly heavy or creamy. The lobster meat was also prepared well, and paired nicely with the large noodles and sauce. The food overall is a little pricey, but you do get generous portion sizes, so you will likely leave pretty full, especially if you order appetizers. Overall, great Italian restaurant with good food and good service. Definitely recommend trying this place when you’re near the Culver City area.

This is definitely cute little Italian restaurant in Culver City. The décor is very nice. As other reviewers have said, the bread here is extremely good. Try not to fill up on it :). As per the actual meals, I really enjoyed mine — I had the Fettuccine Salmon dish. I took off a star because the service was quite slow. We sat for a long time in between getting seated and ordering and between finishing food and getting the check. Would I recommend to a friend if asked? Yes. Will I be back? Probably some time I want to have Italian food when I’m near Culver City.

My friend took me here for a birthday dinner. She had been telling me about it for a while. We showed up on a Friday night and it was packed. We were the only ones without a reservation so we had to wait awhile. We probably only waited about 15 minutes though. The owner was awesome. Or I would assume he was the owner… He was extremely friendly and patient with us. We both had a glass of cab sav while waiting. The wine selection is pretty good here. I had the ravioli rosa and my friend had the mushroom pasta dish. Both dishes were so fresh, tasty and full of flavor. I will definitely be going back!

Excellent service, very tasteful Linguine, shrimp, mushroom with a touch of hot pepper. It was hot, and not heavy with oil. Crowded in the front area(Friday evening) — seated in the back, «private» room — nice & quite. Will return for sure!

I’m trying to move away from my usual Asian staples, and I have been eating more Italian. I have never been big on pasta, but Brunello Trattoria is one of my husband”s favorite restaurants and it has quickly grown on me! He loves their cannelloni! I prefer their seafood pastas and the last time I was here I had their shrimp & butternut risotto which was a daily special. It was a large plate full(and not a scoop in a bowl). Otherwise, I usually get the linguine vogole pasta with clams, garlic, olive oil, and hot pepper– a simple & delicious meal. They have daily pasts and fish specials that are always worth trying. Dinner menu here: Service is always great and I always see the same people working and eating here. It is a small, cozy spot with wonderful food. Parking can be tough, but the sidestreets across the restaurant always have spots. Also, Coolhaus is within walking distance!
