I have been going to Culpeper Cleaners for more than 10 years, and even though the owners have changed, I have received the best customer service and quality that outshines any other cleaners I have ever visited. Each time my clothes come back absolutely wonderful and they look very professional. The new owner, was very kind and gracious to all my requests. I plan on continuing my patronage there, because I am truly treated as «Culpeper Finest». I definitely recommend this place and by the way, my bridesmaid dress was tailored perfectly!

Apparently this long time Culpeper business is under new ownership, and they new owners don’t give a crap about their customers. For many years I have used Culpeper Cleaners to do my shirts, I have always been pleased with the work they do. I always take my shirts in on Wednesday with a piece of Dry Cleaning so that I get the discount price on the shirts. I saved 50 cents per shirt by doing this. I recently took in about 30 shirts for me and my partner. I took them on Wednesday along with a suit coat that needed dry cleaning. The young chubby blond girl that was working that day seemed very put out that I was there with work for her to do. She refused to count the shirts, saying that she would do that later. I reminded her that the shirts were on discount that day and that I had my Dry Cleaning there too. When my partner went back in on the following Monday to pick up the shirts and my coat, the same blond girl told him the bill was $ 70.00. He refused them and I had to go in myself. When I got there the place was being manned by a Chinese guy who explained that several of my shirts had to be dry cleaned due to the snaps instead of buttons. These were $ 4.50 each. I have had those same shirts cleaned there many times for the same price as all of my other shirts. He was also charging me $ 2.00 per shirt instead of the discount price of $ 1.50. I said«let me speak to the owner.» He said, «I’m the owner and that is the price, take it or leave it.» I had no choice but to pay the exorbitant price or lose all my shirts and the coat. This business will not last long if they think this is the way to treat«Culpeper’s Finest.» The former owner did a huge disservice to his customers by selling the business to such a price gouging scoundrel. From now on I will drive to Lake of the Woods or Warrenton rather than give this carpetbagger a dime of my hard earned money.
