The best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. A gem for sure. Perfection! 5 stars! The location is in a strip mall and is a deli but Oh the food.

What would you think if I told you that I discovered this place by accident, and it turned out to be the most memorable meal of my vacation in Key West? Crazy, right? But that’s exactly what happened. We stopped here to check out one of the clothing shops next door, and while that shop was closed, we decided to get some food from here for the road. It’s a small family shop, operated by a middle aged couple and their daughter. And it’s cash only. We got the chicken quesadillas and the chicken sandwich to go. It’s hard to describe the sensation when i took my first bite of the Quesadilla. It was fresh, hot, perfectly cheesy and absolutely delicious. I think I can safely say that I’ve never had such Quesadilla in my life. The chicken sandwich was also amazing. I will make this tiny café my go to option for any future trips to Key West, as should you. Cheers.

Great food and nice owner, best Cuban food in town, fast food style though, if you don’t just looking for food, try this place and you won’t regret.

Small deli style restaurant in a strip mall along Route 1. Morita’s is a casual lunch spot with all dining outside on picnic style tables. My husband and I shared the Cuban sandwich. Large enough to share even if you’re relatively hungry. On a scale of 1 – 10 we rated the sandwich a 5. The sandwich was good but not great. Still seeking an authentic Cuban while in the Keys.

It is a small Cuban coffee and sandwich shop on Cudjoe Key near bad boyz and their toys marine shop. The front counter is manned by mom and daughter and they are the sweetest, nicest people ever. They speak both Spanish and English, but I get to practice my Spanish. The food is home made style and delicious. It is a cash only business no credit card yet. Give them your business, I don’t want them going anywhere else.

This is as good as Cuban food gets… and I love Cuban food. The Cuban sandwich was as good as any I have ever had. I also went back the next day for the Tacos which were also very good. I am in walking distance of the place; and plan on eating lunch there often. BTW, did I mention how nice the owner is? Well she is as nice as the food is good.

Had the lunch special and it was amazing, the food is so authentic and fresh. The owner waits on you and cooks everything with her Mother, delightful personality. We live on Summerland and this will be a regular place for us. Oh yeah, the rice pudding made daily by her mother is so good!

Hands down the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had, and I have had plenty of them. Perfect balance of flavors. The surprise was the added veggies, like Cuban meets Banh Mi. This place is hard to see, with almost no signage. It is very small inside as well, but they have an outside table. I love it.

The roasted chicken was real good, and I would recommend the black bean as well. The restaurant was very small, but I like it!

Try the conch and shrimp ceviche! Only available on Saturdays!!! Good little cuban place in Cudjoe Key. It is not open all day and all hours so call ahead and check if they are open. Suggest you make your order to go unless you like eating on a bench outside

Literally a hole in the wall on MM23 Cudjoe Key. The best croquetta sandwich I’ve had ever(even in Miami). It’s a must stop if you are in the lower keys.

Delicious food! A tiny hole in the wall, but their service was phenomenal and the Cuban Mix sandwich was incredibly flavorful. We met the owner who was incredibly nice and helpful. My Cuban friend, Eddie H., Is absolutely obsessed and can’t stop talking about this place.
