I had my son’s birthday party there, and the overall experience was awful. I was doing all of my research in order to ensure that my son’s party was the best it could be, so I went in a month or so prior to booking the party to get a feel for the place(we’d never been there before). We were given a tour and a pricing list, and it seemed like the perfect place to have my son’s party. On Facebook, they advertised a deal for a party package that wasn’t listed on the brochure, so I called to inquire about it. I was told to fill out the party registration form and somebody would get back to me with details. I filled out the form, and somebody called me back a day or two later. I spoke on the phone with them for about 15 – 20 minutes, asking questions about pricing, etc. to ensure I wouldn’t be over-paying. All seemed well and I booked the party. However, the man that was running the party seemed very disinterested in what was going on. I dealt with that, but at the end of the party I went to pay for the pizza and soda(which I knew wasn’t included in the price of the party) and got hit with an extra $ 80 charge. Apparently, they charge for the adults that play with the kids at the party. Between my tour of the place, my talk with Colin about the extra charges I might incur at the party, and the duration of the party, would have assumed that this would be mentioned eventually. The man that e-mailed me stated that it was listed on the registration form that I filled out(I double checked as soon as he mentioned this, and even took a screen shot of it. It didn’t state this, only mentioned that some parties don’t come with pizza. They’ve since updated it to state the extra charge for the parents). I paid the extra $ 80 and left, since he had another party to attend to. The kids at the party also didn’t get their free coupons that they were supposed to get. I sent them an e-mail later that evening inquiring about the charges, and they responded the next day. Whoever was e-mailing me was arguing with me about the cost, and said they would send me $ 20 back along with the missing coupons since they apparently also charged for the birthday kid’s parents to play as well, and they’re included in the party price. I wanted an answer as to why, in both of my attempts to get information from them, as well as at the party, it was never explained to me that each parent that played with the kids would cost me $ 10/each. They argued that it was stated on their website. I explained that I had booked over the phone, and made it clear that I didn’t want any extra(unexpected) fees after the party. The party was unorganized, some of the equipment was broken, but the kids had fun. I think that after my e-mail altercation with whoever answers their e-mails over there, they also decided not to send me the $ 20 or the coupons that were promised to my son’s friends. They have absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I got a nasty attitude and very short responses, and never even an apology for not being informed of the extra fees. They claimed that they were mailing out my $ 20 and coupons, but it’s been almost a week(I live a town over, it takes a day for mail to get to me from there) and my mailbox still hasn’t seen it. It’s worth the extra drive to take your kid someplace else for their party.

We had a large group(between the ages of 23 — 30) go there for a friend’s birthday to play a few rounds, instead of the typical«let’s get wasted at the bar» type of birthday gathering. After we all payed for our games, they eventually lead us to some random party room, although we didn’t book a party room, and then left us there. We weren’t being rude or obnoxious, but it felt as though they just wanted to get us out of the way. After well over 20 minutes of just sitting there and not hearing anything, one of our friends went to check on what was going on, only then they remembered us and finally said we could be up next. While playing, quite a few vests and guns didn’t work properly… some where so bad you could stand right in front of someone shooting them and nothing would register. And when you point it out, the employees have nothing but excuses as to why the guns and vests have issues or they attempt to convince you everything is fine. I’m sorry, but the concept of FUN completely degrades when what you are paying for barely works. Now, the laser tag matches are supposed to be 10 minutes, but because of the«crowd» and poor management they cut time down to 7 minutes 30 seconds. When our group questioned why the time was cut, they rudely responded saying they could cut the time down to five minutes, After that bit of attitude and our group asking why they were being so rude, one of the employees walked up threw a 50 dollar bill at us and said«there’s the door»… Really?! They eventually tried to back track by claiming they were just«joking around»… ummm, interesting logic, first you scam customers, then insult them yet think everything will be OK because you were just kidding? Afterwards, they expected they could shut us up by giving all us a free game coupon, sorry, but TOOLATE! I am utterly surprised with how poorly they dealt with inquisitive paying customers… None of us went there to cause problems, although it took a lot not to snap after such treatment, because we didn’t want to ruin our friend’s birthday. I left this place extremely irritated more than entertained. I will NOT support a business with such horrible service! DONOTWASTEYOURMONEYHERE! You’re better off paying extra to play somewhere else.

I hosted a party for my son and I was very unhappy with the way I was treated and the owner was rude. I felt like I was taken advantage of and ripped off. To reiterate again, the owner was very rude to me from the start. Some of the equipment did not work, however my son’s friend decided not to tell me and that was the reason he stopped playing. I would have assumed that all the equipment would have been tested prior to being handed out. Additionally, mini golf was awful and I felt like the kids were judged because they were just being kids and slightly goofing off(not wrecking anything nor moving anything). You cannot be rude to kids, especially if this is a place that attracts kids. Next time, I will be going to the laser tag place in Holiday Hills.
