Best gyro meat I have ever had! Tzatziki is fresh and creamy and all the veggies taste fresh too. A nice clean place with friendly servers. I would return in the future :)

This was one of the first restaurants we visited after we moved to the area and I must say I was SO happy to see so many gluten free options on the menu! I may have clapped. We’ve returned many times and they even have a drive through if you want to call in to place an order — hallelujah! Everything I’ve tried has been gf there and I’ve enjoyed. Recently they seemed to have removed fried items off the gf menu as they were using that designated fryer for something battered so I replaced it with the potato salad which was good. I like the hamburgers and gf buns as well as the wraps, salads and Italian beef sandwiches with aujuis. Great service. Wonderful local restaurant!

I had a chicken wrap that was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back! Cute, clean, spacious place with friendly service. It’s a little pricy but the food was good.

Beware chicken soup had a bone in it. Alfredo is bland tastes like mushy noodles. Fried chicken was cut wrong and they knew it when they fried and gave it to me on my to go order… avoid this place… Called owner to tell him and he hung up on me… rude.

First impressions are everything and this place fall short. Ordered a wrap and it came opened on both ends. The table next to me had an appetizer that smelled so bad we almost left. Over all the food was not something you would expect a «chef» to put his name on. The interior is small, which would be quaint if we hadn’t had to sit in front of the door. I think this place could do better.

SOMANY gluten free options! I had THEBEST Italian beef sandwich that I’ve had since going gluten free 9 years ago! Atmosphere is very homey and cute. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be back! I just wish they were open for dinner, too.

One of the best places I’ve found so far to eat in Winfield, their burgers are the best.

Celiac’s beware. As we all know accidents can happen anywhere. When my son gets glutened at a restaurant I call as a courtesy to kindly notify them(possibly a new staff member doesn’t know all the practices as well, or a mistake happened in the fryer) I have always been treated kindly and told that they will review their practices. Unfortunately when I called Chef Nicks Eatery, The owner was immediately defensive, speaking over me and making multiple disparaging remarks. I repeatedly tried to calmly explained that it was just a courtesy call and I was not mad, but as his defiance grew so did my frustration. The last thing he said to me was«I will not accept that a mistake was made at my restaurant.» Wow!!! No accountability means no safety for celiac’s. in all fairness my parting words to him were«go to hell» and then I hung up. Needless to say nobody I know will be returning there.

After reading the high reviews we decided to give Chef Nick a try. We were very disappointed. I ordered the avocado salad with grilled chicken. For 11.50 I got a half a head of lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber, no tomatoes, a small chicken breast, a few black olives, ¼ avocado, some almond slices and a little goat cheese. If you’re going to call it an avocado salad then put some on it. It was a whole lot of lettuce. My husband ordered the killer beef, big but nothing special. 2.00 extra for a side of potato salad. My son ordered the fat chef burger, also large but just an average burger. Again 2.00 extra for fries. 1 star for quick and friendly service. We will not return.

Very nice ambiance. Friendly wait staff. My shrimp Alfredo needed seasoning. Added salt and Parmesan cheese several times to add flavor. Shrimp itself was cooked well. Salad made with iceberg lettuce. Blue cheese dressing very good. Husband had a gyro. Meat was dry and overcooled. Pita was tough. Tomato was pink with no flavor. Too many filling ingredients for the size of pita. Sauce was very tasty.

I went to Chef Nick’s for the first time with my mom and stepdad. I was immediately impressed with the casual atmosphere. The service was outstanding, the menu was huge and the food was good. I just had soup and salad which is pretty hard to mess up, but I will say that the salad was very fresh and I could tell that the soup was homemade. My parents got a hoagie and pasta. I did not try either of their meals but they looked good. Kudos on the huge gluten free menu too! I was very impressed!

My wife needs to eat gluten free, and this place really gets it. The home made chips are excellent, sandwiches good, and the gluten free pizza outstanding. Is this my favorite restaurant? Not by a long shot. But the gluten free menu is extensive, and my wife has never had a problem after eating here. That, as they say, is priceless.

I stopped at Chef Nicks for the first and last time. I ended up ordering a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It took nearly 20 minutes to get my food when I was the only one there in the whole dinning room. They have a really nice dinning room i must say. The sandwich was that bland processed Italian beef you get at GFS or Wal Mart. I got fries, soda and this sorry assed sandwich, this cost my almost $ 12.00! I compare it to a philly you would get at a fast food gyros shop and it costing twice as much and taking 4 times as long to get it. When I paid I even asked if Chef Nick was the one who cooked this, and they said yes. I told them the sandwich really sucked and that Chef Nick has no idea on how to make a simple cheese steak. The funniest thing is Chef Nick has his own cook book for sale in the restaurant for purchase. Maybe he could use those proceeds and have some cooking lessons.
