One of the best gyros I’ve had. This place also serves breakfast. I’ll definitely come back!

Service was good but after reading the reviews I wasn’t impressed as much as others. Guess I’m just not into Greek food. I had the Gyro and is was ok just not worth the money! A little bit of meat on a bed of rice wasn’t what I expected. The salad dressing had no flavor and tasted like lemon juice!

I would say we are Greek food lovers… and this place is my new favorite! The Chicken Shawarma was so tender and flavorful, Gyro Plate was perfect! So glad for a new local place. It is a future Diner, Drive-in and Dives place for sure!

I recommend The Kitchen In Crowley. The food is fantastic! The service is wonderful! Some of the items my family has tried are the gyro salad, chicken schwarma, philly cheesesteak, hummus, spanakopita, spinach & artichoke rangoons, baklava & Turkish coffee. I have been multiple times and it has been great each time. My family eats mostly American and Mexican food. We have found a new favorite in the Greek/Mediterranean food. I look forward to next time.

Tried this place on recommendation. I was not disappointed. Authentic gyro. The catfish and falafel were excellent too. New to town. This is a new favorite.

I ate here when I first moved to the area. I came for lunch and after deciphering their confusing menu ordered tabulie and gyro plate. Both items were made fresh while I waited and alittle expensive for lunch but both portions were very generous and worth the time and expense. The owners family were helpful navigating me thru my menu choices and very friendly. I’m glad such a good greek food place is near me. I’ll be back definately!

My wife and I found this place noticing it was advertising Gyros. Neither of us had enjoyed a gyro for years so we decided to give it a try. The place is definitely Mom and Pop, but was worth the effort and money. The Gyros were wonderful and the service was friendly. Highly recommend.

Came here with my husband spent nearly $ 50 on two appetizers two meals two drinks and tip. Service was extremely friendly to the point where it made me feel guilty to say I didn’t like some somethings. The menu is a complete mess needs to be simplified and redone. The baba ghanoush that we ordered was burnt. The falafel that we ordered was overcooked on the outside and mushy on the inside. Ordered to dinner plates to my mistake I ordered a gyro plate not the sandwich. I ordered the chicken shwarma it was it was ok the hummus wasn’t ready so I was able to substitute for tabouli. Which made the plate amazing I’ve never had tabouli like this. It was mainly parsley which I hate but somehow it was absolutely delicious i mixed that with the chicken and the rice. It absolutely made the dish a hundred times better. The flat bread that they serve with the baba ganoush is old tasting like rubbery not good they should serve it with the pita bread they use for the gyro plate. The tzatziki sauce is very good thick but still tasty. This experience was interesting to say the least. I do believe if the restaurant would actually get organized and learn from the big chains or the more organized small chains that this would actually be around for some time. Quality control is very important and I know that it would have been very hard to throw out a batch of burnt food and start over or to even not make a customer pay for disliked food due to improper cooking burnt outside raw inside. The owner’s wife was the server that day I believe. She was extremely friendly made me feel guilty that I did not like most of what she serve me.

So I tried this place the other day when popping into Crowley, TX. It’s definitely a mom and pop place and in the middle of no where in a small strip center. I’m judging this place on the gyro I had. I’m not a gyro expert but gyros are in the top 10 on my list of favorite foods. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the bread was manufique however that’s kinda where it ended. The only other things on it were onions and tzatziki sauce. The sauce, oh the sauce. I guess Raz in Mansfield, TX has ruined me for all other tzatziki sauces. I thought this was a little on the ranch dressing side, meh. Also a little lettuce and tomato would go along way. I also thought they were a little over priced for what you get. In conclusion, if you live in Crowley and are freaking out over getting a gyro then ok, it’ll get you by but if your near another Greek restaurant, I would choose the other place.

So yummy! Was a little skeptical, but it was DELICIOUS! My mother had the gyro plate, and it was very good, had great tasting beef. I had the chicken shawarma, the chicken was perfectly season, tasteful, and wasn’t dry. I would definitely go back. It’s nice to have this place close to home.

Very good menu. If you don’t like Mediterranean food, stick with the burger. The gyro is a go to staple of many places like this, but this one is just dang good! The shawarma was very good. These ladies put in their effort and it shows. I’m glad I don’t have to drive to Arlington anymore for great Mediterranean food. Thanks Kitchen for giving the citizens of south Tarrant a nice place for food most of these people wouldn’t even know how to make much less say the words correctly. I for one appreciate it!

Experience was ok. Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Fountain drinks didn’t work, so you pay for drinks by the can. Most shocking to me was that even though they said they were open until 4pm on Sunday, and confirmed upon arrival that this was indeed the case, they began closing the place down with us inside at 2:40. Never got a check, just went up front and stood there until someone acknowledged me. Understanding the pricing on that ridiculous wall menu may take an advanced degree I don’t possess. By the time we were leaving 10 minutes later, the closed sign was already flipped and the door was locked behind us, over an hour before posted closing time.

The Kitchen is a new edition to Crowley. It’s now home to what used to be Humbey’s café. I didn’t have high hopes for this place walking in. I was prepared to be disappointed. I live minutes from this place and pass it taking my kids to and from school. When they put the«American, Greek, and Mediterranean» sign up I was intrigued. The waiter handed me a paper menu. It looked stained, but the more I stared at it the more it resembled a drawing of Earth. Lol. There is alot on the menu. It had a bit of everything American, Greek, and Mediterranean. Appetizers like wings, hummus, grape leaves, and kebbeh. Salads! Greek salads, tuna salads, taboleh salads. Sandwiches like gyros, patty melts, and Reuben. They had Nathan’s hot dogs! Entrees such as grilled chicken, philly cheese steaks, po boys, schwarma, and chicken fajitas. The chicken fajitas came with ranch dressing. Now how American is that? Americans put ranch on just about everything, but I have never heard of ranch on fajitas! They also have a menu on the wall with things like lamb chops and chicken fried steak. Waiter also said they will add spaghetti. They had a special, chicken kabobs with greek salad and rice for $ 8. One kid got a cheese burger and the other got a Nathan’s hot dog. Silly kid didn’t want the onions, mustard, or ketchup on his hot dog. Come on now, that’s the best way to eat a Nathan’s hot dog. Anyway, this place did not disappoint. The chicken was moist and flavorful. It wasn’t dry at all. The rice was really good. The greek salad was lovely and light. It came with a raspberry vinaigrette. I kind of scratched my head at that, but the dressing tasted amazing on the salad. The people that run this place are Greek. The waiter was from Ohio and extremely nice. We talked about the area and large DFW is. The owner was nice. I assume he was the owner. He looked like an owner and wanted to know where the nearest Sam’s Club was. I even met the Chef. The Chef is the waiter’s cousin and she is from Chicago. The sign says breakfast and lunch, but it is just lunch and dinner. Waiter said no breakfast right now because the other chef they had was too slow. Lol. So they are open from 10a-7pm. It is a great addition to Crowley and I really hope The Kitchen sticks around. Greek and Mediterranean food less than 5 minutes from my house! I don’t have to go all the way to Arlington if I didn’t want too.
