I need help finding Mindy, she has been cutting my hair for years and now there are new owners and she up and left. If anyone has her number that would be great thanks.

Had my hair colored, washed, cut, styled. It looked so great, very impressed, even my husband loves it and he’s picky. CJ is great!

I have been going to Mindy for my haircuts for the past 18 years and her services has always exceeded my expectations and more. I am a native Houstonian born and raised but have been living in New York City for the past 5 years working and breathing as a professional makeup artist and beauty expert (
). Since I do work in the beauty industry I am very particular about my hair. I’ve been going to Mindy ever since I was a young girl and I look forward to her haircuts every time I do make it home to visit for the holidays. It brings back nostalgic memories to me all of the time when Mindy cuts my hair. So when I’m in between cuts with Mindy I do get my haircut at the famous Bumble and Bumble located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and I can honestly say her haircuts are on the same caliber of my haircuts at Bumble and Bumble but with a small fraction of the price of what I pay for in New York! I pay $ 140 for my haircuts at Bumble and Bumble! I am so grateful for Mindy and her utmost professionalism and passion for her work. I do actively read Unilocal reviews but normally do not have the time nor do I care to write one but after reading that one negative review from Lisa N. I am rather disturbed. I work in the beauty industry and I understand how some customers are. You can try to give them the moon to ensure that they are happy but sometimes nothing would ever satisfy them. I know Mindy is a very hardworking lady and she does this as an honest living; like you and I she has bills to pay. I’m sure her intentions were genuine and pure. You can’t go to a salon and have the whole works done especially if there’s the cost of products used, the labor, and time invested and decided that you’re unhappy and go around and asked for a refund. This is a family hair salon and not Bumble and Bumble in New York City charging a few hundred dollars people! Sometimes people like Lisa N. needs to look at the bigger picture and question if it’s even worth all of this negative energy? People are dying from ebola and there are other bigger issues in this world than your hair. Quite honestly it’s not even worth it. I’m sure Mindy threatened to call the cops because Lisa N. was probably harassing her and starting a scene at her business demanding a refund. She was probably desperado for money and probably wanted a free hair service out of it. I see it all of the time in this business. Quite honestly, if Mindy probably felt she was at fault and didn’t deliver quality service I’m pretty sure she would’ve done the best in her ability to make things right, with that being said, Lisa N. is a crook and she needs to get a life. Mindy genuinely loves people and is passionate about her work! With my reputation in the beauty industry I can vouch for Mindy.
