McDonald’s

Stopped in for a quick refresh on the way up to Massachusetts on a Saturday morning. Hot coffee, food hit the spot (crisp hash browns!), and the staff was extremely pleasant! Also very clean and updated interior and restroom.

Stopped by here for a little breakfast and coffee before heading to MA. I was pleasantly surprised by their modern, hip décor and their sleek, CLEAN bathroom! I just want to highlight the cashier (young male with hair up to his shoulders) who rang us up today 2÷27÷16 at 9:30AM. I couldn’t find his name on the receipt. He was just a delight. Welcomed us with a smile and presented himself with such good manners (please give him a raise!!!) It’s hard to find any fast food joints in NYC with both clean atmosphere and good service! I was highly impressed by this McDonalds!!!

New look and set up. Came in and they were very busy with one group and our order got lost in the chaos. The group ate and left and we were still waiting. They kept calling 366 but that was not our number. We got it sorted but it was a longggg wait especially when you have a starving 7 year old. They seemed to be more focused on their schedules as this was the behind the counter conversation.

Friendly staff. Manager saw I was with my 85 year old folks and came out to assist when we went to sit down. THANK YOU !

Needed a place for breakfast while driving from Windsor to West Haven. This was the 4^th place I tried, (McDonald’s on Bloomfield Ave in Windsor — can we say «SLOW»?, Dunkin’ Donuts and McDonald’s on Route 99 in Rocky Hill — almost across from each other — both good, but too far off 91). This is easy off and on the exit. Drive thru is SUPER efficient, and servers are friendly. Coffee is great, food is good, and I am on and off of 91, with food, in 5 minutes… can’t ask for more — well I could, but that would be greedy :)

Shiny, newish McDonalds. Food and speed, not as shiny. Kinda average food. I thought it would be hotter after waiting in the Drive-​thru for late nite. Breakfast, not much better.
And not specifically the fault of this location, but McD’s needs to rethink the decision to retire the Hot Mustard McNugget sauce.

Another one of my stops on my way north or south for those in my party who want a McSomething. The décor here a bit retro with round, no-​back cushion seats at various tables in addition to the usual types of seating. Restrooms are large, modern and quite clean. There are two drive through order stations so the line moves fast. The food is the usual McFare. Easy on and off from interstate 91 at exit 21

This is where I stop every morning on my way to work. I order a large coffee and a sausage burrito. $ 2! Then I jump back on the highway. The people there are always friendly and if I see more than four cars in the drive thru, I will go inside and they will already know what I want and how I like my coffee. My only pet peeve about the place is the annoying recording going through the drive thru trying to sell me something before I even order. I go through lots of McDonalds drive thrus and have yet to encounter these little recordings. On my way from Meriden to Hartford, I pass by at least ten McDonalds’s. I’ve tried them all, but this is the one I keep coming back to. I’m not the friendliest character in the morning before I’ve had my coffee, so sometimes I do feel bad for the McDonalds staff if they have to deal with me the customer not getting my money out before I get to the window.
