Starbucks

I love a good Starbucks drive thru. This was just what I needed. I was exhausted driving to Richmond from Baltimore and needed a pick-​me-​up. Found this Starbucks location on Unilocal and stopped by with a quickness.
Service was good, but the drive thru line did move a little slowly. I ordered a cold green tea and it tasted perfect! This is a great spot to stop if you need some caffeine on a long drive down 301.

The staff is so friendly! They know me as a «regular» and get my day off to a great start. The only downside to this location are the really long lines (drive thru and inside). Thank God for mobile order!

I’m not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy their variety of teas and hot chocolates. I am love with their lemon cake. I just need the barista to stop damaging the frosting so that I can stop feeling cheated. If you need snacks, there are yogurt, juice and some sandwich options to choose from. Coffee beans are also available if you want to prepare your java in your casa.
This location has a drive-​thru and the parking in the front is limited to share with its neighboring businesses. I’m always greeted and the wait time is generally minimal. Not a very large space but well decorated and of course they have complimentary wi-​fi. Like many other businesses, you can sign up for emails to recieve information on their promotions and to register your Starbucks card to keep earning those stars.

I went into this Starbucks on Jan. 26^th, 2016 to get a drink that I had recently gotten in NYC. Two shots espresso with extra steamed soymilk, My friend was in line before me and got the same drink. They charged her 2.71 (see photos). When I ordered it they charged me 4.09. I went up to the counter confused at the price difference for the same drink and brought my friends cup up with me so they could see everything they put in her drink. The manager and cashier started throwing around drink names from latte, to macchiato, and all I could say is I want this drink, and pointed to my friends drink. So they made another one that was CLEARLY the wrong drink again since it was in a much smaller cup. I went up AGAIN with my friends drink and mine, and explained that they were not the same drink. I finally said screw it and got a refund. I’m not sure how they could possibly back up their constant mistakes without any apology. The cashier and managers only said well this is awkward after the second time I came up with the wrong drink. I wish I could have remembered the managers/​cashiers names because I’m pretty sure there are great workers there. Just not these two.

Although there seems to be an endless line, the service is always fast and friendly. Love, Love, Love the mobile app. Keep up the great work and know that us die-​hard customers appreciate your hard work in an industry that doesn’t always have the most appreciative customers.

The employees are really friendly, which accounts for two stars. That said, this location is extremely disorganized, the bathrooms are terrible, the trash cans are always full, supplies (sleeves, straws, milk, etc) are always low or gone. This is a relatively new location and still has a lot of kinks to work out.

I love that this location has a drive-​thru. I hate that when you are in said drive-​thru, there’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance that whatever pastry you want they will be out of. They are ALWAYS out of something. There’s got to be a way that they can fix that as it is a perpetual problem.
Staff here is pretty solid — always efficient and helpful and they have yet to mess up an order, so you really can’t ask for more. I also appreciate that they are more than accommodating with complex orders without being snippy about it. Wi-​Fi inside is an added bonus!

Rude Customer Service!!! Today I ordered a coffee and warm blueberry scone via the drive thru. As I pulled away from the window, I realized the scone I received was cold. I popped into the store and politely informed a barista that I had come through the drive thru and had requested the scone warmed but the scone was cold and asked if it could be warmed up. She snatched the scone from me, took it to the lady at the warmers and never responded to me. I said thank you and again she did not respond. Then she, the gentleman running the drive thru and the lady at the warmers started talking into their headsets and laughing. The lady that I spoke with turned her back to me and covered the mic and within seconds the other 2 were laughing. Clearly this was directed at me. I don’t know if they were laughing at my weight, my race or what I was wearing, but I felt uncomfortable and as if I shouldn’t have asked for the service I requested. I won’t be going to that store again.

Very fast service, despite long lines! I think the long lines tell a tale of customer satisfaction, though; we keep coming back because we enjoy the final product. Then again, as another customer said, «It’s Starbucks, they got no problem filling up the store with people.»
Fair point, but credit the baristas here for their friendliness and efficiency. When they get busy, I see their A-​game all the time. Generally see that even when they aren’t that busy. So, no complaints really. The occasional lack of superior customer service keeps the final star off the board for me, and they run out of syrups a bit too often for my liking, too. Otherwise, I’m a fan for sure!

Got my fave… the passion tea lemonade… sweetened…salted caramel cake pops OMG the best ever and my boo got the caramel Brulee latte.

I love this location! The drive thru is very convenient and usually fairly quick. Even when the line is long, I’m usually through within 15 minutes. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I go there way too much for my own good, but I just can’t get enough!

This Starbucks is ok as far as Starbucks’ go. The inside is nice and always well-​kept, though it is rather small. The employees are nice enough, nobody has ever been rude at least, and my drinks always come out quickly.
As far as the quality of my drinks, it’s touch and go. Sometime it’s great, sometimes not so much. That really depends more-​so on who makes it rather than the specific Starbucks, though, in my opinion. All-​in-​all, if you don’t plan to hang around or it’s nice out and you’re fine with sitting outside, it’s an acceptable location to get what you like from Starbucks.

I came in to get coffee and a Bacon and Gouda sandwich or the Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffin. They didn’t have either so i ended up just getting my usual Hazelnut machismo and leaving. (a little disappointed)
My drink was good a usual. The server was apologetic for the entries that they did not have.
This location is typically very slow so I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they moved that day.

It’s a Starbucks! Writing a review for Starbucks is a funny thing because while it is not a fast food chain, it is so corporate that I feel I would write the same exact thing for each store. Which in this case is not a bad thing.
Very happy to have this location on Rte 3 as this is a favorite shopping centre of mine and prior to this being here you would need to enjoy your hot beverage at the Starbucks located inside the Target. Now that this is here it’s wonderful to sit detached from the busy world of retail shoppers.
As always with Starbucks, it is clean, cute and makes the standard drinks using the exact same recipes. I opted for the peppermint hot chocolate for my most recent beverage and it was delicious, just like all the others before it.
The staff here isn’t quite a perky as I’m used to, but they are friendly enough. I usually frequent Starbucks for cake pops and Izzy’s since I’m not a big fan of caffeinated drinks, and unfortunately they have been out of Izzys twice I’ve visited. Perhaps it was because I stopped by in the early evening. Oh well.
Added bonus, this is a drive thru location. Perfect!

This Starbucks has three times given me bitter tasting drinks. Leading me to believe they’re either not cleaning their coffee machines or are attempting to extend the life of their expresso/​coffee; who knows. I will surely stay away, I don’t recommend this Starbucks unless you enjoy bitter drinks. there are plenty more Starbucks in the area to choose from.
