We needed a new door and screen; our old door caused a major draft into the living room. The Good: Friendly customer service. On time. The crew was friendly enough and worked very efficiently together. The Bad: Door and screen were installed, two holes were punctured in my walls they’re about the size of a nickel(see photos), it’s more annoying than a big deal. Neither Home Depot nor Caffes Construction informed me that they don’t discard the old door/trash until they were leaving.(They pick up the door, how the heck would I know they don’t take the trash/old door away?) I live in a condo where you can’t leave anything in the common areas(very strict). Had I known they were not going to discard the door I would have contacted Community Forklift, or made other arrangements to come get my old door. JUSTLETMEKNOW. Instead it was a race against time, the day before Thanksgiving renting a cargo van, going to a transfer station(closed early due to an emergency) and calling every trash company in the phone book. I found a nice enough guy who was headed home to come back to work to take my trash. It cost me and it was stressful. The Follow-Up Conversation: I called back and they offered to patch the holes, not paint; I rather get it done right; I will deal with it at a later date. They were not responsible to let me know that the door doesn’t get removed, it was Home Depot’s responsibility. If ANYBODY would have let me know this would be a non-issue, and a higher star rating.

Customer service is beyond horrible. There were times I had to call the office 10 different times back to back before someone could pick up the phone in the office. The women are rude and talk over you, won’t even let you finish your sentence. No surprise that Home Depot is done with them.
