This probably wasn’t the best place for a great steak dinner, which is what I had, but more suited for sandwich fair. I should have read reviews 1st& would have rethought dinner selection. Started with French onion soup. It was hot and pretty good. Dinner came before we were done so didn’t finish. Large steak but steak & potatoes were plain in the taste dept. Pads of butter were already placed in rapper in my potato. Steamed veggies were colorful & adequately prepared. My husband’s pastrami lacked pastrami @ was dry. The egg yoke squirted onto his shirt sleeve. Ok, his fault! Tots were his favorite part of meal. Waitress/bartender was new but pleasant. Maybe an off night. Really wanted 2 ½ stars.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have 1 star!!! Worst meal and service I have had in as long as I can remember. DONOT eat here!!! The fish and chips are worse than any frozen fish sticks you can find in any frozen food aisle. Service was very slow but this review is focus on the horrible food. The lamb French dip was like trying to eat an old shoe but that would be an insult to an old shoe… Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

I seriously don’t know how this place gets 4 stars! If I could give a 0 I would. The food and service was horrible! I feel like I need to barf and then take shower!!!

Not too bad. I took my dad for his 60th bday. While the steaks were big and perfectly cooked, they didn’t have much flavor. They didn’t taste bad, just kind of bland. Our waitress was EXTREMELY nice and professional.

I this cute gold mining down is an Irish pub(attached to a casino of course) that makes a delicious Blackened Prime rib sandwich. It was delicious and only $ 8.00!!!

The chicken pasta plate was big and tasted wonderful and the price was right(it was comped). The place has a good atmosphere and the waiters and waitresses were the nicest in town. I would definitely eat here again.

Excellent food, great service. You will not leave hungry. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. We will most certainly return here on our next trip from California!

This place is the best! Friendly staff and decent food for a casino town. Really cool bar and booths. Tons of TV’s for sports fan and a good selection of draft beer + spirits. Stop here if you are hungry in Cripple Creek!

Ordered breakfast to go for event I was working at. Service was quick. Servers were nice, friendly and competent and gave me the 10% casino discount. Breakfast sandwiches were what you’d expect at a greasy spoon. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

The prime rib sandwich spoke of in the review below was mediocre. For $ 8, what do you expect? The atmosphere was good, the service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I’d eat there again, but I guarantee chef Ramsey did not say it was the best prime rib sandwich he’s ever had. I even spoke to the staff about that claim and they didn’t know anything about it.

Very good food, great service. Had a large group of 9, including 3 kids and food was delivered hot and fresh within 15 minutes. Drinks were constantly topped off without asking. Fried pickles are the bomb. Only 4 stars because as a parent it’s hard getting something good for the kids. They do have a good kids menu but no veggies. Carrot sticks, green beans, or broccoli would earn 5 stars.

We got the prime rib sandwich – get it if you come here! Chef Ramsey was here a couple wks ago and said it was the best Prime Rib he’s ever had. Fries are great. Great place for watching the game. Cool waitresses. Good service. Will definitely come back on our next trip here!

Low beer prices. Good blackened prime rib sandwich. Barmaid went out for a smoke break and without washing her hands, poured a beer for me. Now I have her cigarette smelly fingers all over my glass. She also coughed several times in to her hands and then served customers. Come on people! Cough in to your elbow! Not your hands!

An irish pub in a gambling town, no complaints whatsoever, but it is what it is.

This is a great bar to watch football, especially if you sit at the bar. The bar itself is clean and very nicely decorated. It is definitely one of the nicer places to grab a drink and informal meal in Cripple Creek. I’ve been here 3 times now and the service has always been excellent. I had lamb sliders recently that were tasty and I’ve had burgers on past visits that were very good. Unfortunately, the bar is located in a casino and the ceaseless background noise of the slot-machines reverberates like tinnitus in your ears. The slot machines are behind a glass wall and there is no gambling in the bar itself.
