3.5 star service, Less than 2 star food. The kitchen may have been having an off day, but my quesadilla was rather bland and very poorly assembled. Half of the quesadilla had nearly no filling(a nibble of chicken and a tiny amount of cheese). The chicken was rather bland, as was the entire meal. The pepperjack cheese I substituted per server’s recommendation was really the only flavor in my meal. The chicken seemed likely reheated from frozen and was rather mediocre. The menu described it as blackened, so I expected some char, but there was none. It had a strange texture. As I was looking for a quick bite on my meal break at work, I did not drink, so this review pertains only to the chicken quesadilla. I have been to the other Post location and felt the experience and food quality there was much better. Like the other post location, they offer a nice selection of beer, but during my visit, I could not partake. I thought the Quesadilla was severely lacking

Adrian the owner reached out to me and was very kind. This review wasn’t an indictment of the business, but of the tender. I’d recommend the place. You might just want to get a table instead of the bar. I’m a guy from Cleveland so I’m use to sitting next to judges, mailmen, and unemployed drunks and we all get along. I guess I just miss Cleveland and the togetherness of the people from the westside. Good luck Adrian and Happy New Year

The menu at Creve Coeur Post is identical to their Maplewood location… which is your standard bar food. The only outstanding thing on their menu are Post-It’s! Which are little pockets of melty cheese(your choice of cheese!) folded between thin dough and sprinkled with some seasoning. Its a great appetizer that can’t really get any where else. The Post is a great place to catch a game you’re wanting to watch because there’s a TV on every surface imaginable. If you visit during a big game day, the staff won’t change the channel for you(if you’re requesting something specific) but you can almost guarantee they’ll have your game on at least a few TV’s. Don’t forget that The Post runs specials when St. Louis teams are playing.

The Post is a pretty decent spot… It’s basically walking distance from my apartment, so that is really nice for me. I have been a few times for some beers, but never to eat. So I was holding off on writing a review. This past time, my boyfriend and I decided to go watch the Rams game, and grab a bite to eat. I ordered the buffalo chicken strips with tater tots, and he had a cheese burger and fries. Nothing that makes me go crazy, but it was decent food. I was shocked at how great our waitress was… It was really busy, but she kept on top of the refills and any requests that we had. I really loved the tator tots. I don’t know what it is about tots, but me and napoleon dynamite would have totally gotten along. Anyways, I think they have some pretty good prices and lots of tv and beer so this is definitely a good spot to come watch a game and get some food.

I’ve been to The Post a couple times lately during NFL football games. This spot is decent. Not my favorite sports bar I’ve ever visited, but it’s a good location and the food is tasty! Last Sunday, I went here with a small group for some brews and chews. The waitress had to list about 10 different draft beers that were on the menu which they were no longer carrying. I was also disappointed to find out that their only beer specials are during Rams games; otherwise you’re paying full price to drink on Sunday. They had a $ 5.99 nacho special though. Instead, I chose tater tots, and a veggie burger. No complaints, but they weren’t really anything special. The place was fairly crowded, and it seemed like many at the bar were regulars. The servers were all nice and friendly, and the place had a decent vibe. I’m not dying to return, but I would.

Went to this place for a quick Sunday meal after shopping. For a weird time of day(pre-dinner) it was very full with football fanatics. Didn’t order any drinks so I can’t speak to that. The post-it’s were fine, not terrible, just bland. I got the veggie burger and the patty came out cold — TWICE. Not like not hot. parts of it were still frozen. The fries are really bland too. My husband had the chicken wrap and said it was okay but the experience was sort of ruined. Our waitress was nice and apologetic as was the manager. They gave me a card for a free entrée but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

The atmosphere is fun. There are tvs all over the place so you can find the game of your choice. I was in a party of 4. None of us were impressed with the food or service… especially for the price you pay. The food is just blah and the post-it appetizer isn’t anything special. When we wanted to mention a small complaint about a gyro to our server, she was nowhere to be found(we eventually found her preparing food/tables in the reserved rooms). We gave up when she had another server bring our tabs over. Paid and left. Can’t see us going back.

The food has been consistently middle of the road. The beer selection is decent. Lots of big-screen TVs, and they apparently draw a large fantasy league crowd, which can slow service noticeably. In all, a decent place to meet friends, with something for everyone, though nothing really stands out, but great for watching sports.

I have been to The Post recently very late on a Friday and a Saturday night. It’s one of the only places in Creve Coeur open late! I like The Post in Maplewood better but this one is just fine and serves its purpose. The beer is reasonably priced, and there is a decent selection, and the daily specials are really a good deal. The last time I was there I had the Friday special which was boneless wings and French fries for $ 5.99. The food is OK.

They really rip you off on pricing. Tots &FF are both 2.99 but if you order tots with burger they up-charge 1.29. They must think they are a bank. Lots of hidden prices.

My husband and I Stopped here on a whim on the way home from a cardinals game for a snack and a drink. Not overly busy for a Saturday night. Greeted as we came in the door. Nicely lit.(You know how some small bars can be dark and dingy especially late at night.) very comfortable environment and able to have a conversation. Ordered a couple drinks and the spicy garlic wings. Average pricing. Quick service and delicious wings. Friendly service. It was everything we were looking for.

This was my third choice for lunch on(Cat) Mother’s Day. My first choice was closed. Seriously. A restaurant was closed on Mother’s Day. My second choice was insanely busy. No surprise there. It was lunchtime. On Mother’s Day. I ultimately ended up here with my husband. I figured, «Who takes their mom to a sports bar?» Well, apparently we do. We ended up meeting my in-laws here. It worked out well because the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I was a first-timer, but my in-laws live in Creve Coeur and apparently had dined there several times before. Our waitress was nice. She was one of those waitresses who takes your order without writing it down. That always scares me, but I believe everyone’s order was correct. I had the nachos from the appetizer menu, described as «homemade corn chips layered with cheddar jack and topped with jalapeños, guacamole, sour cream and salsa.» The base price was $ 7.99. You could add beef or chicken for an extra $ 1, or you could order them grande style for an extra $ 2. Now, I would think that«grande style» would be a larger order of ‘chos, but when I asked about it, the waitress said it meant they would add lettuce(as well as one or two other things I do not recall). I wouldn’t call that grande style. I’d call it lechuga style or ensalada style. Maybe even Gangnam style, but never grande style. Anyway, I ordered the base nachos with chicken. They were fine. They were the kind of nachos you could make for yourself at home. I mean, you could easily make nachos at home. The entire dish consists of chips with stuff on top. It’s not complicated. I’m just saying there wasn’t much to these nachos, and they could have been improved with a few simple tweaks. Let’s start with the homemade chips. They were too thin. Thin chips are great, but these could not support the weight of the copious amount of cheese that had been melted on top. When I tried to pick up a chip, it broke. I ended up eating my nachos with a knife and fork, and that’s just not right. Although I appreciate the cheese coverage being more than adequate, the cheddar jack was just too bland. A flavorful queso or melted pepper jack could have turned the flavor up a notch. In terms of toppings, the chicken, and guacamole were fine for a sports bar. However, I did not care for the salsa. It reminded me of Pace picante sauce. Pico de gallo would have been a better choice, making these nachos seem more like something you’d get in a restaurant and less like something a bachelor would throw together as a midnight snack. The nachos weren’t horrible, but I don’t think I’d be tempted to order them again. The menu offers plenty of other options, including pizza, salads, and a variety of other appetizers. My husband and in-laws seemed pleased with their sandwiches, so maybe I’d go that route next time. For now, I’d say this place is A-OK.

Great place to watch a game, grab an ice cold Budweiser, some baked wings, and enjoy the cool breeze on the indoor/outdoor patio.

Spicy Garlic Baked Wings. Excellente. Chicken and Bacon Post Its. Excellente I seem to find myself back at the post over and over. They have a great appetizer list(great specials 4 – 7) I’ve had almost everything off their appetizer menu and their pizza and they are definitely worth eating. They have a decent amount of seating, and a connected outdoor room for the warmer days. Lots of TVs with everything playing so you won’t miss a game. They also change the channels for whatever you want to watch depending on where you are sitting. Great place to enjoy the games, food, and booze.

A 5-star sports bar you say? Yep… I went there. And so should you! So we checked this place out on a Wed night and when we got there(about 6:30), it was packed. We decided to sit barside and found two stools together. We were immediately greeted by two barkeeps– a guy and a gal. I think his name is Brent. I didn’t get the gals’ name, but point is, really great service in a busy place… works for me every time. I ask him if they’re going to be showing the play-in games and I get a smart ass response, which I deserved. I’m a graduate of Robert Morris and they were playing… so we went to a sports bar to watch and I asked the dumb question if it would be on. That’s kinda the point of the place as he pointed out in a clever way. So we get our beer order in and look at the menu. Nice selection of salads, pizzas, burgers, chicken… all sounds inviting and the plates coming out of the kitchen smell amazing. Oh, and did I mention they have a pretty huge beer selection? Lots on tap and a ton of IPA’s and such in bottles. Kudos for a great beer menu. So she opted for the chicken sandwich and she said it wasn’t a typical chicken patty… it was real chicken breast… moist, well flavored and delish. I opted for the cheesesteak. I always shake off the onions and peppers and just opt for lettuce and tomato instead. I requested this and as the gal brought out her chicken sandwich, she verified I requested no onion and pepper. I confirmed and she said the kitchen had put some on mine, and she would get me a new order asap. For my ‘trouble’ she bought me a beer(Rolling Rock bottle), which was totally cool and not necessary, but certainly appreciated. My order was back out in just a few minutes, hot and perfect. I’m from near the Philly area. No cheesesteak expert, but lets say I’ve had a few in my day. This is by far the best cheesesteak I’ve had in the midwest. The cheese is gooey and the meat is a great flavor and the roll is just perfect. A great sandwich. And oh yeah, the waffle fries… omg…crispy and salty and worth every calorie. They had trivia night and we stayed for 4 of the 5 rounds. This was really well run and we had a blast playing with the bartender and a few folks around us. They have great giveaways if you win a round(free bucket of beer) and it’s free to play. Best of all was the service. Both folks took great care of us and took time to chat with us and joke and have fun. It was so good, I went back today(Thursday) for lunch and the same folks were right back at it. We’ll be going back as often as we can… try this place with confidence. Lots of fun, great food and great service.

Decent sports bar and food. Burger was very good and affordable. If you check in on Unilocal you get a discount… bonus. The place was empty on Sunday but it was a slow sports day before super bowl weekend. We got the baked wings too and they were good.

At The Post we walked in and sat down without anyone even looking our way for over ten minutes. There was a man working on a computer in the corner of the bar who did not greet us and turned out to be an employee(not the best way to make an impression). A helpful waitress did finally come our way and was able to accommodate all drink and food orders. I did not see this waitress when we entered, I assume she was working in the back. The pizza was the best part of the meal. I would get it again if watching a sporting event. They offer different crusts for the pizza. There are TV’s everywhere at The Post. This location has indoor, bar, and covered patio seating. The environment just is not the same at the Maplewood location. Parking can be challenging during games.

I really like the Post! I’ve been here a handful of times since moving to the area last year. There is usually a pretty decent crowd — if there’s any big game on, show up EARLY or be prepared to seriously wait on a spot/table. Food is decent, sports bar quality food. Not really my first choice for dinner. More like a place to chill, have a drink, and watch the game after you’ve eaten. Never been for lunch though so that could be a different experience. When they’re really busy, service can be somewhat patchy. I get it though, and service has ALWAYS been friendly so I can’t complain. I will definitely be back again and again! Fun weekend hangout.
