I don’t want to give this place a bad review at all. But I live in Lincoln so coming here is out of the way and I don’t think I’d make the effort to come here often. If I was in Crete, however, I would come here all the time. The only kicker? No designs. My sister and I found ourselves here one Saturday morning cashing in some Living Socials we had accumulated. The co-owners working were so nice! Very welcoming. They took my sister and I out to the sun room area to soak our toes and pick from a wide variety of colors. The visual display of the polishes along the windowsill was fantastic, grouped together by collections, and they had quite a few ‘hip’ colors and examples of cool techniques. That I loved! The sun room area was decked out in a beachy theme and looking out the window was really peaceful. They also had soft music playing. These little touches made it a wonderful little spa like experience for sure. The building is an old Pizza Hut, you can tell by the architecture and the outside appearance is not a good one. My sister and I pulled up fully prepared to walk out if they had little wash tubs and it was ghetto. But when we walked in, it was a nice surprise. Hopefully they will find a way to make the exterior less Pizza Hutty. While we sat and chatted, looked at magazines, oogled the room(if only the view was better!), they took care of other clients, finishing up hair cuts in the other side of the salon. The time was sufficient. We had great conversations. I have no qualms with this place at all. It’s just too far for me and the one thing that kind of stinks, they don’t do designs. When I get my toes done all perty, I want a design! lol. So that’s why I’ll continue to go locally.
