I have eaten at Tacos a couple of times. The first time I ate there I ordered a chicken dish. The tortilla was deep fried and had very little chicken in it. It was dry and not very appetizing. The second time I ordered a dish that was supposed to come with guacamole. They served it without any. I would rather drive to Athens for authentic Mexican food than to go there a third time. Very disappointing.

Best chimichangas ever! We eat there at least once a week and have NEVER been let down. Nachos are great, tacos are awesome and their hot wings are better than any wing place around! Yes, their service might be a tad slow, but they cook everything fresh when you order it. You are not eating chicken or steak that was cooked that morning like in most other joints. There are only two things that could make it any better… first, alcohol! To have a margarita with dinner would be great. Other thing is if they had more room. It’s a super small space and gets packed quickly. I highly recommend Taco’s to anyone who wants super fresh and tasty Mexican without having to drive all the way to Athens and wait 20 mins to be seated.

So glad we don’t have to drive all the way to Athens for authentic Mexican food. Great taste at a great price. I have never been unhappy with the food in the year and a half I have been coming to Taco’s.

Service was terrible,(wrong drink that was never corrected, no refill as both glasses sat empty) and our bill came to twice what it should have been. The food was average. Quick, hot and filling

Crawford has very limited food choices, but it is good enough to not drive to Athens if you want Mexican but if there were more choices around I wonder how well the restaurant would do. My favorite is the chicken fajita nachos. Good stuff right there! Everything else that I have had there is alright, not bad but not great either. I wish the service would improve. No one seems to be happy to work there, therefore not interested in earning a tip. I think if the morale and skill with the staff would improve there would be a larger customer base. It is awkward when someone comes from the kitchen and seems to jump on the servers in Spanish. I will keep going back for the chicken fajita nachos, but I wish the service would improve.

Great restaurant to have in such a small town with few choices. Taco’s serves your typical Americanized Mexican fare, but does it very well. Excellent guacamole! Prices are fair and the service is good. Go for the Tortas or the steak ranchero.

In a town that has only two restaurants(pizza or Mexican) I wasn’t hoping for much. But I was pleasantly surprised. It is obviously family-owned. The young server was extremely polite. The décor was sparse, save the obligatory sombreros on the walls and the space was extremely clean. The expected basket of chips were crisp and not greasy. The burrito special was a decent portion for the price and the ingredients fresh. Only issue was the steak was a little gristly. If I find myself passing through again and not wanting to wait 30 miles to get to Athens I’d definitely stop again.
