The young man working in the produce section was so incredibly helpful and conscientious, I asked why they stopped carrying breadfruit and he said that it wasn’t selling but that he would tell the person who did the ordering that there was a request for it. The very next week they had a box of bread fruit on display. I wish I had gotten his name so he could get credit for being so helpful. Thank you! :) Also store is clean, well-stocked, awesome prices, even some organic stuff.

Very clean store. Produce looks great and actually lasts after it comes home. I usually only stop here for produce, but only because I don’t do the majority of the grocery shopping at my house. If it were up to me I would shop here much more. I love the fact that they encourage the use of your own bag by charging for bags if you need one.

This location is always clean, well stocked. The variety at this location is great. Especially in produce and grocery. My only disappointment is the lines can get long at checkout. If your in a rush take a glance over because you will wait even with a few items. There is a Ocean State Job Lot that shares this location. You won’t find lower prices.

I love Price Rite. I think every Price Rite has the best fruit and veggies around, at unbelievable low prices. Not organic, but personally, I don’t care. Limes right now are 10 for $ 1. Crazy. Jalapenos, serrano, habenero chills for under $ 2 for a tray of them… more than i ever need. Scallions 2/$ 1. I try to go here for all my fruit and veggies. And different veggies like tomatillos, papaya, chayote, etc. The dried spices are also really cheap, and good. They sell name-brand pastas, like Mueller and Colavita… for about 50 cents a box/bag. Good Spanish and Portuguese olives, olive oil, specialty foods. I don’t buy meat from Price Rite. I tried bologna once, for my dog, and she wouldn’t touch it. It was pretty gross… I’ve also bought chicken here for her, and it is often smelly w/that sort of liquifying skin and fat on it. I recommend avoiding all meat here, but that’s me. My two favorite stores are this one, and the one of rte 44 just over the East Providence line in Seekonk. The Warwick store is good too, just far from me, and a little big, for my taste. A new one just opened in Johnston and I am anxious to check that one out too, and I’m hoping they will have lots of specialty italian items!

So inexpensive it’s kinda stupid not to come here for generic grocery items you happen to need. I go to Price Rite on occasion for staples like baking soda, condiments, cereal, dried chickpeas, seltzer, etc. I like this Price Rite b/c of the ample parking and the really good selection of Latino pantry items. Tip from the cashier: visit mid-month to avoid the insanely long lines(EBT kicks in the first of the month or gets lost end of the month).
