Always amazing service and the best food and drink! My go to watering hole on town and the place I bring everyone on nights out. Make sure to come on a Friday or Saturday for the live entertainment or check the calendar for events! They never disappoint. Thanks, Kim and Karissa! You’re the best!

Well color me Cranston (or almost Johnston). Having drove by the previous 3 – 4 incarnations of this location for most of my hometown life, I had never quite felt any desire to check out the innards until this new banner went up. While some may argue Rhode Island has enough Irish pubs, this is a welcome fill to a few diversity voids in the Cranston/​Johnston area.

ATMOSPHERE/​LOCATION: Physical address-​wise I would imagine parking being a little bit annoying, but we walked from Brutopia so *sticks tongue out and makes loud raspberry* to you wheel-​bound folks. Setup is a U-​bar with some hightops and regular tables. Nothing too fancy and it works perfectly here. The expected mix of older and some younger folks (we were probably on the younger end) all seemed to be in a similarly jovial demeanor. I should add there was live acoustic music that night, which was fantastic. Any place that gets me belting ‘Wicked Game’ after a few Smithwicks and a Red Bull is a winner in my book.
FOOD/​DRANK: Your expected menu of Irish pub standards, dive bar go-​tos, and some local o0o0oo’s. As my picture illustrates, I delved into the weirder end of a delightfully eclectic cocktail list. The Nachos — holy hell they were a mountainous pile of cheesy, guacy, & pork-​based deliciousness. From a glance at the menu, and other photos on here, it looks like they also carry a pretty (unexpectedly) eclectic array of full meals as well.
SERVICE & SCENE: Our waitress was a champ and put up with (dare I say potentially enjoyed) our libation-​based indecisiveness and late-​night antics. Super friendly, super prompt, super awesome.
With McKenna’s in the Atwood ‘hood, it now looks like Cranston/​Johnston could run a decent little bar crawl down the route 5 stretch. Pleasantly surprised for sure — I will be back.

Came to this place the other day. Stopped in because a friend told me how good it was. When I first pulled up it had a nice homey look to it and made me want to check it out more. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Place had a great crowd and live music! I ordered the RI tenders from the menu. Even though the place was busy my food came out fast and was very delicious. Very clean, Very good food and I will definitely be back to McKenna’s Pub at 641 Atwood ave Cranston.

I love this new Irish pub. good food, great drinks and amazing friendly staff. I highly recommend coming into this place.

My friend & I decided to try this place last night because we were driving by. To start getting in the parking lot is a nightmare if you are on the opposite side. Inside the place looked very modern, new, and extremely clean. There was no one inside though besides 2 other people. There was no drink menu just a list of beers. I enjoy cool mixed drinks so not having a drink menu to look at and pick from was very weird. I ended up just ordering a basic drink that any bartender should know how to make. It didn’t taste very good at all. Both of our drinks just tasted like juice. The food menu had many options that looked very good. I ended up getting the «not so shepherds pie» and my friend got wings. Both of our dishes came out fast but there also wasn’t any excuse for it not to because the place was dead. The steak used in my shepherds pie was so hard to chew I spit most of mine out. My friend said her wings were ok but nothing special. It’s sad that the food and drinks weren’t very good because the place looks so nice and the staff was all very friendly. I’m not sure if we will be back.
