I think they are out of business. Drove there Saturday early afternoon and they were closed.

In love! It is the first snow fall in NJ that really makes you wanna stay in and feel warm BUT its Saturday My sense of adventure brought me to Cranford, NJ and to this elegent gem of a restaurant/coffee shop establishment. I noticed their menu is just loaded with flavored teas and warm goodies. I tried their«Carnival» tea which relaxed me and a burst of flavor. I followed up with the crème of mushroom soup. weirde combo but It worked. Great place and so much more than just cheese.

Got a cheese plate to go and it was delicious. The fig spread and grapes complimented everything perfectly!

Lovely shop, wonderful sandwiches, and the ladies who own/work here are friendly and so nice. They are very knowledgable about their cheese, too I’ve been here many times and the cheese and food is delicious each time! There’s a nice variety of imported specialty foods from chocolate to chips to crackers. I love the scones with clotted cream and jam– it’s a must try. The environment inside is so nice, and I’ve often eaten outside as well. You can bring your own wine if you’d like. A must go to!!!

Went there for the first time today and got a cheese platter to go. Presentation was not good and service was not friendly.

a cute & quaint shop with a large selection of gourmet cheese. Our sandwiches were awesome — I had the Erin(fresh apples & cheese — yum!). Totally a great little shop to stop by for lunch.

Stopped by for lunch. We ordered the Jaime and Hannah sandwiches. Great flavors and the soft French roll from breadsmith made the sandwiches. We ended up getting half of each sandwich to go as the portions are substantial. Friendly service as well.

Totally condescending woman(owner possibly) — Used a HQ Discount card and was treated rudely. If you are trying to generate business offering discounts, why do you treat the people redeeming them as though you can’t be bothered? Don’t waste your time– very small selection. Take the 15 minute drive further north to the Summit Cheese Shop. Probably won’t last much longer…

My go-to spot for soup and half-sandwich. Everything is always fresh and they are so knowledgeable about the cheeses they bring in. Some other unique finds like the stuffed peppers, etc.

Just moved to Cranford and came across this great little spot this afternoon — and was so happy we did. Would definitely recommend for lunch. The food was great, and Maria was a pleasure. Will definitely be back!

Love this place! It’s a great place to go sit outside, enjoy a bottle of wine, and have an amazing sandwich or cheese platter:) The service is incredibly friendly and you can sample any kind of cheese before you buy it. The sandwiches are awesome and extremely filling! A great find in Cranford :)

This place is the best! We have been going here since we moved to Cranford a year and a half ago, and they always have the best recommendations for cheese! Whatever we bring from Cheese Please is always a hit at every party. Recently, we heard they do private parties after hours and decided to try it for my fiancé’s birthday. They were SUPER accommodating, despite the fact that I pulled the party together in a short amount of time. They paired cheese with wine we brought, and it was amazing! Everyone RAVED about the experience, and a lot of people left with cheese they were so impressed. It was a great time, and Maria was so sweet about meeting our needs throughout the night. These days, it’s pretty hard to find this level of customer service. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Love this place!!! they have a great variety of cheese, and a lot of products from across the pond. What is especially great… is that there is an amazing bakery just down the street… makes for one of my favorite snacks… cheddar cheese and a chiabatta roll!

This store has been open for over a year and yet somehow I didn’t make my first stop in there until this past weekend. It was perfect timing though as we were heading to the in-laws and wanted to bring something besides our normal bottle of wine. Before getting that though we had lunch there, each ordering one of their sandwiches. They offer about 8 varieties of sandwiches, along with cheese platters that you can eat in the store(you can also bring beer or wine to enjoy with them if you want). My sandwich was the Erin — cheddar, chutney, apples and spring mix on some great Breadsmith bread. It was the perfect size(I hate small sandwiches) and came with mixed olives on the side. Delicious. Once we were done with lunch we went over to the cheese counter and told them the sort of cheese we were looking for(something hard, a little different from the norm). The woman gave us a taste of a cheese that was soaked in Chanti and we both agreed that was perfect. The cheese was a big hit with the in-laws, and I have a feeling we’ll be heading back here in the near future.

Love this place. My fellow Unilocalers have not let me down. The staff is super friendly. I think I tried 10 cheeses before I was 100% on what I wanted… and I didnt get the feeling they were thinking«dang this girl is annoying». They even gave me a free sample of frozen yogert! I will def be back and you should go if you are reading this.

I actually went in here to get a sampling of the Irish and English treats in the«Marie O’Neill» section of the store for my Irish bff’s bday. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of candies, teas and biscuits. Even picked up a bag of Worcestershire chips, soooo good! Will be back soon for actual cheese!

I went in today for the first time and was impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the ladies behind the counter were. i sampled the cheese that was cut up into cubes and somehow nearly choked and the lady was nice enough to grab me a water before i turned blue. :) after i regained my composure, i asked about the cheeses, etc and she was really helpful. she even let me sample the ones that were wrapped for sale so i could decide between the gouda cheeses. i walked out with a cranberry cinnamon goat cheese, a nutty/butterscotchy gouda and 2 types of crackers. let me tell you… the cranberry goat cheese on the whole wheat cracker made my day. it was fantastic! i love how she gave me a brochure with their cheeses listed, so i could mark off the ones i tried for future reference. i plan on going back with my fiancé(MR) and bringing a bottle of wine and ordering a cheese plate to enjoy. this is a great place and i hope it does really well! i can’t wait to go back and try more cheeses!

The cheese selection is a bit on the small side even though the store is huge. There are more imported Irish candies, cookies, soda, etc. than cheese. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are good too.

With Breadsmith right around the corner, Cheese… Please has officially given Cranford a gourmet foods district. Though their storefront is narrow, it is a deep space and it is full of excellent imported cheeses and other delightful(and hard-to-find) chocolates and provisions. I’d say that their selection size is about the same as a well-stocked Whole Foods, though Cheese… Please likely wins on price per pound. The service there is friendly and educated on cheese, and you can walk in there and build quite a little gift basket for yourself or a loved one with their help. It is definitely worth a stop for a last minute gift or if you want a new and unique cheese to try.
