Take It To The Cleaners

Before dropping off I called and asked if they repaired zippers on large luggage (28 inches), and I was told that they could do this. I brought my luggage here for zipper repair (destroyed by airport) and cleaning (remove marks from airport, also was told they could do this) on July 25. I called again about a week later and was told that my luggage was being picked up by the seamstress that week (week of August 2). The week of August 16, I finally got a call back saying they cannot fix my luggage because the seamstress doesn’t have a big enough needle. No one offered an apology for the month long period they had my luggage, nor was it even cleaned when I came to pick up.
The manager made no attempt to apologize to me, and the front desk girls response to me asking why it took so long for them to tell me this was that she didn’t know. When I asked her if this was a service they normally offer she also said no. When I asked why the other employee told me otherwise she didn’t know.
This is the worse customer service I have EVER experienced, as a former retail worker I am appalled at their lack of organization and communication. I wish I could give them less than one star, I encourage anyone to take their business elsewhere.

Great!!! Ive brought my work suits and blazers here and very expensive designer scarves. Everything turned out wonderful and they use all organic cleaner… Not full of yucky chemicals! Owner and his mom are very nice. I prefer to do business with independently owned and not corporations, this place is great! Will be back and recommend to others!

Composite review ranging over 7 or so years. This is the quintessential small business enterprise. The owner is also a co-​operator and is always on-​site. His family frequently does some of the work. The shop is open so one can see the entire operation. To the person, staff has been friendly and helpful.
Every single interaction here has been perfect. Clothes are done as requested (computer keeps tabs on preferences), dry-​cleaning immaculate, clothes repairs on-​site as well. Imagine driving up to a business, exiting your car, and as you enter, your clothes have been pulled and are on the counter area. … happens routinely with me and others at this place.
This is a bona fide US owned and operated enterprise. Not part of an amorphous chain which accumulates clothes in a factory in pittsburgh then ships them back to what are only «in-​take clerks.»
