Residence Inn Pittsburgh Cranberry Township

Old, and more expensive than neighboring newer hotels.

Awesome place! Awesome staff running it! Newly renovated. Beautiful!!! High end! Indoor pool and work out room.

We pulled in at 10pm looking for a room to lay our heads on, only to head out early morning. We were not given any «special» last minute rate that you always hear about on TV reports. We were given a first floor room that was very lived in. The furniture was torn, and looked dingey. Not what I expected after staying in the same hotel in State College, PA. Much diff. experience.

After seven thousand miles and fifteen states traveling with dogs, I have found the Residence Inn by Marriott to be the BEST. They are Very pet friendly. The «pet walk» area is large and well kept grass with disposal bags if you need them. They also don’t mind if you leave your pets in the room unattended and the housekeeping staff carries treats on the carts. If you travel with pets, this is the place. Also, the breakfast is great.

Not bad, not bad at all. But if work wasn’t paying, I might not stay here. The rooms are pretty cool and spacious – they are really just temporary apartments. Even the studios are very comfortable. Congress equipped with fridge, microwave, stove top, utensils and cooking/​eating ware… walking distance to Uno’s, Starbucks and very close to the strip mall. Free wi-​fi and it’s pretty darn good.
Pretty nice swimming pool area and jacuzzi… Gym is… sufficient…ish – the mirrors in there make it look a little bigger than it is. Like total 2 treads, 2 bikes…
The hot breakfast has to be my favorite, though. Egg & cheese muffins with Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs every morning, potato wedges, mixed omelettes… and then they have the standard waffe maker, yogurt parfaits, muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and juices to pick from daily. Waking up never fails here.
Complimentary microwave popcorn? oh yes they did!!! ;-) Oh if only you didn’t cost an arm and a leg, Residence Inn…

Stayed at a lot of Residence Inns… most are about the same. Can’t say the same about this one. The room had a musty smell, the bed linens were cheap and worn out, the plumbing clogged up, and breakfast entrees seemed like they’d been sitting there for hours. Location is decent if you have to be in that area, plenty of dining options around.,
