What a great spot! Looked up local parks in the area where I am part time Nannying and Goat Island Park came up. It’s address says Cramerton, but it’s right off of Hwy 74/Wilkinson Blvd. You drive through a neighborhood to get here but it is well signed to find your way. The kids I brought are 10, 9 and 5 but it could easily be suited for all ages. There is a dog park right where the playgrounds are, so bring the four legged kids as well! Great picnic table pavilion area that has signage for rental opportunities. There is a fitness pavilion with all kinds of workout equipment, though I didn’t try any out for fear of needing 911. There is also permanent ping pong tables in the area where the playground is and has paddles and balls available as well as permanent cornhole boards! Nice touch! Two great bridges lead to the playground area and the walking paths we used were well paved and easy to navigate for any age. Check it out if you’re over this way! Safe, clean fun and it’s FREE!

This is a brand new park, and everything is really nice. The playground is very innovative with different types of rope structures for kids to climb on. There aren’t a lot of swings here, but everything else is so neat I don’t really think it matters. They even have an exercise section for adults that’s amazing as well. You can fish here, play frisbee golf, ping pong(bring your own ball though, they don’t provide any) and have trails to walk along. Definitely something you need to bring your kids to. Love this place, can’t wait to go again!
