If I could give this hotel a zero that’s exactly what they’d get. This hotel is dated and they actually have smoking rooms which I got stuck in. Not only that the sheets were so disgusting! It looked like 20 million people slept in those sheets and they had the nerve to count the pull out bed sheets. My husband asked for hot sauce and they said only at breakfast. The fan was dusty, the bathroom made a strange noise, and those sheets were so nasty. They had stains on the curtains. I mean now ik now the difference between franchise and corporate. I won’t do franchise ever again! Worst hotel ever!!! You could stay somewhere cheaper for the price, dated look, and nasty rooms. I’ve never been to a Holiday Inn that was this terrible I took pictures of the sheets but my phone didn’t capture the big dirt spots from inside the room.

We just recently stayed here for 1 night after returning from Augusta at the Masters. If I had read the reviews prior to staying here, I would have never chosen this hotel. However, it was clean and all of the staff were friendly. They did mention that they were doing a lot of updates to the hotel so maybe that is why our stay was so pleasant. The room was clean, the carpet seemed new and most of all no smell in the room . Also, for the price of the hotel with a free breakfast, you can not complain.

For years we stayed in Marriott hotels. When they went no smoking we switched to Hampton Inns. The Hampton Inn in this area was non-smoking so we tried the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were were larger than Hampton’s and the breakfast was better. If other Holiday Inn have smoking rooms, that’s where I’ll be staying.

This place is disgusting. Came into our first room and it was a smokers room with 2 full sized beds. We asked for a non smokers room with a king sized bed and a couch pull out bed. Not close at all. Next we walk into our room, the toilet paper has been used, they didn’t even put a new roll in. Next we pull out the couch bed, the sheets were stuffed in the bed instead of nicely folded somewhere else like every other hotel does. Finally, we woke up to bugs all over the ceiling. I will post a picture to show everyone. The only positive about this hotel is the location and the water pressure in the shower. Thanks for a miserable experience and I will never be staying at a Holiday Inn Express ever again, and I advise others to do the same.

This review is based off other Holiday Inn Expresses I’ve been too. We only stayed one night but it was not a good stay. First, this is the highest rated hotel in Covington, so they charged us like they were a 4 star hotel. We couldn’t check-in early, which isn’t a problem but then 3 pm came along and their computers crashed, so we could even check in then. When we finally got a room, we were greeted with a particular stain on the bed cover that left little to the imagination to what it was. The staff was average at best, and the breakfast was adequate. Moral of this post is the city of Covington needs at least one hotel with a 3+ star rating.

It doesn’t look like much from the road but it’s a decent location. I liked the nice split level rooms and the interior courtyard reminds me of Holiday Inns from the past. Bathroom was large and water pressure was awesome! Bed was clean(no hairs) and comfortable. The room itself was average yet clean. The only thing that stunk was breakfast. Broken pancake machine. Milk was frozen slush and the pre-frozen omelets cold(cheese not melted at all). Really a poor breakfast.

Friendly staff, however dirty accommodations. The carpets all around the hotel were dirty and stained. There were 4 bugs in the first room we checked into– beetle looking insects that were flying around the room and sitting on the ceiling. The next room we were moved to also had bugs inside the room.

Clean room, very nice staff, Candice was her name. She even told us that there was a private party going on downstairs and offered us a room well away from it since we had a small child(you could here the music from the DJ playing once you entered the hotel). Our room was nice and cool, very clean, lots of TV channels which is always a plus with small kids, great shower, and the pool was awesome! There was a small paved road to the side where we could park our moving truck with security lights as well, big plus!!! Highly recommend!

Clean rooms will include a microwave, flat screen t.v. and descent sized refrigerator. The queen beds were quite comfortable and much needed for a couple of nights rest after two very long days. Soaps, shampoo’s and conditioners were available along with extra towels when needed. Breakfast was included with each night’s stay, a descent selection of eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bacon, instant grits, fruit and pastry were there to choose from and then came across something that had my compete attention an automatic pancake machine having never seen one of these before was«tickled pink» others had pooh pooh whatever. If you want a pancake or two or three you simply walk up and push a button then the batter is pushed on to a conveyor belt, cooked then a couple of minutes later da, da, da, dah out comes a perfectly cooked pancake you add the fixins. After watching adults and children use this machine curiosity got the better of me and had to try it yum.
