Camp Bow Wow Covington

I WILL NEVER BRING MY DOG HERE AGAIN.
At first I thought this place was awesome. The people were super friendly and they care to get to know you and your dog. My pup had a blast and met dogs similar to her size.
BUT after taking my dog a couple times this past Friday and the Saturday before she woke up yesterday with a HORRIBLE cough and wheezing. After calling a few vets I found one that would see me same day. I told the Dr. The symptoms my pup was having and the next thing he asked did I board her recently and once I said yes he asked let me guess camp bow wow? Once I confirmed that he already knew what she had. He had at least 4 dogs come in recently who had the same thing. And let me know they’ve had issues with the corona virus for months. He said they need to shut down and clean to get rid of it but have yet to do it. This particular strain is scary because there is no vaccine for it. And had I not called this vet on my list I wouldn’t have figured out what she had until I spent a few hundred or more dollars on tests and medication or until it was too late.
When I called camp bow wow to let them know they seemed to be aware of it. They def apologized and offered to pay for a few of my dogs next stays but didn’t mention anything about cleaning to fix the problem. They definitely didn’t mention it when we first came and I asked if there was anything I should know.
I will NEVER bring my dog here again. She is my family and I love her to much to bring her to a place where she could get sick again because they don’t properly clean when they have a continuous problem.

My puppies love camp, i have a rat terrier & a pit mix. I like the spacious cabins they get to stay in when i leave them overnight. I love that they get to play with other dogs during the day. The staff are great, i feel they truly care about my pups wellbeing & pay attention to each of my dogs specific needs. My mom also brings her shih tzu to the groomer & she does a fantasic job groomer her.

Great place for ur dogs. Dropped mine off several times he always has a great time I love the doggy cams u can watch ur pups have fun all day
