Payless Shoesource

I have been shopping there for over 16 years. It seems that they are doing something right because the employees are always so helpful & nice. I also use my AAA discount when I go shopping for a extra savings.

Came back to school shopping for my son here and had a great experience.
We were greeted quickly and Lydia was very attentive and sized his foot right away.
The shoes he wanted were out of stock but she found them in stock at a different store in Duarte. She was very helpful and let us know we could special order and wait for them to arrive in a week but we needed them by Monday so she called over and placed them on hold for us.
She even gave us a $ 4 off coupon.
We went to Duarte and with the coupon from the Covina store and my 25% off coupon PLUS a 50% off deal they had on socks we were able to get about $ 40 worth of merchandise for $ 20!
Back to school shopping can get expensive, so I appreciate this place for having such good bargains.

I came here the other day, looking for a specific pair of shoes I saw online. I was surprised to see how small the store was, and even more surprised to find the shoes there.
I wanted two pairs. One for my mom, which they had in her size. Then another pair for me. I found a single shoe in my size. Staff looked all over the store and couldn’t find it’s match. So I said «It’s fine, I can do a half a size smaller.» They had one shoe that was half a size smaller, but it’s match was nowhere to be found either.
Either someone walked out with the single shoes, they were very very misplaced, or they had been sold together (a non-​matching pair).

This place is ok I guess…
The sales people who work here reek of desperation. They don’t have much of a selection of shoes there.
