The Wisteria Cottage is still in «tear down condition» and is now for sale in July 2015. The cottage is bare essentials. The kitchenette is really a very old refrigerator, a hot plate, microwave and toaster. The place is clean to the touch but all sheets and towels are dark colors instead of white. Would not go back!

It looks like The Inn at Penn Cove has improved quite a bit since the last review from two years ago. THEROSES: I was put up in the ‘Tower Room’, which is actually a little one room cottage attached to the back of the main building. I found my room to be cozy and operating-room clean. The bathroom was nicely updated with a big shower. The inkeepers were very friendly and pleasant, and really made you feel welcome. THETHORNS: Not really a thorn, actually. It is important to remember that TIaPC is over a century old, and it has the feel of an old place. It is a cozy, quaint B&B in a peaceful island town. This is not like a luxury hotel. It has a homey, quaint feel to it, so if you’re expecting glitz, you might be disappointed. THEVERDICT: Cozy, classic B&B very reminiscent of the places I stayed in when I was touring rural western Ireland. Good value for money. Recommended.

Not recommended. We stayed 9÷29÷12 in the Wisteria Inn. It is in «Tear-down» condition. Way past remodeling. On street with no blinds on windows in sleeping area. Tremendously over priced for what you get. There is a Thai café next door with two additional rooms above the café. The«cottage» is a historical site. The only redeeming factor was the very nice property manager«Mike».
