This is the definition of a mom & pop store– friendly staff and a back to basics kind of feel to it. It just walking into the store feels like traveling back in time.
I come here a couple times a year to get my parents some of their favorite old-​timey candy– Zots & McCraw’s taffy. They have little bins of candy marked at a few cents a piece… the kind of place you could send you kid to with a couple one’s and have them leave happy. (I always get the candy cigarettes for myself)
