My favorite Mexican food in town. Don’t have to deal with the overly crowded ones down the road that are taken over by there huge bars and ruined by the bad service. Great prices and amazing enchilada sauce, salsa, and chili Colorado! The owners are always there and greet you with a smile!

Absolutely everything from this place is awesome. Even the margaritas, which by the way are only $ 5. What! It’s a bit warm to sit inside and eat but there is outdoor seating. Also, anytime I call in to pickup it’s ready in ten minutes.

I think Dos deserves 4 stars overall. I usually get the combo plates, and they are always very good. Authentic food at a great price. Better than a lot of places in the area. Should be 4 stars on Unilocal for sure.

Gotta give them a five star for being so nice. Good food, but in this case I called at 1:57pm for takeout not realizing they were closed. They didnt mention anything about being closed and took my order. I got there and the place was locked up, but they came out to my car before I drove away to get me. Thanks you!

I wanted to eat here but my family said no. It looked really good and sometimes you can just tell if it’s good. Bummed I couldn’t eat there.

Absolutely love Dos Amigos. We eat there every week. Great food, perfect sauces, and amazing service. I can’t understand why it’s not busier. Other local Mexican eateries always seem packed, but serve mediocre/poor food, while Dos Amigos is always great! Do yourself a favor and try it.

This place is okay, i have been here 4 or 5 times and ordered the combo. I never liked their beans. They seem to give me a stomach ache afterwards Last time I went I got the chicken quesadilla which was very good. Not sure why it’s in the appetizers section because it was quite filling, plus I got rice on the side.

My little nephew loves the $ 5 express burrito offered to-go only at lunch. He requests it every week. The salsa is good, the $ 5 express burrito is pretty good, shredded chicken– it’s a little bland but that’s what the salsa is for! Quick and convenient for lunch to go!

Excellent food and even better customer service. A++ If only all restaurants operated with such an emphasis on customer satisfaction! We are loyal customers and will continue to be!

Only ate here because we had a $ 25 gift certificate. Drove from Windsor to try this place… & what a disappointment! I really wanted to like this place, but I just could not. The service was extremely slow and the food was horrible. Chips were over cooked and salsa was just ok. The tamale was super dry and tasted horrible. My fajita burrito was packed full of beans that tasted gross. I only ate the chicken and some of the tortilla. We were a party of 5 and none of us were happy with the food, we will never come back.

Cotati is a fine restaurant. It has a nice family running it and the thing to do is order fajitas and then also order a couple beers to go with it. Its a fair, delicious, and consistent place with a fun staff and filling meals. What you will find here is old school cooking, but resists the push to over zealous presentations. I asked if this is part of a chain, and it was explained to me that it wasn’t…

Hmmm… Service was so friendly that I wanted to give the 3 stars. Food was kinda bland(although we both ordered chicken dishes). I had a tostado and my hubby ordered a burrito. Not cheap and not expensive and I am definitely FULL! Loved the warm chips and salsa ;)

Blech! Better food at Taco Bell! And i hate Taco Bell… This food tasted horrible. I ordered cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Rice was hard and cold like it had just been pulled frpm frig. Cheese enchilada just tasted like a heap of melted cheese. Could not taste tortillas and barely any sauce. My daughter had a chicken burrito. She picked at it and couldn’t eat it. Her rice was cold too. It has been several hours since eating here and my stomach still feels queasy. We hadn’t been here in many years and gave it a try again. Will be passing on Dos Amigos in the future. Server was nice and very friendly. Sorry, Dos Amigos, won’t be back!

I went to Dos Amigos on a whim. It just looked like some place I needed to visit. I have a supreme fondness for dives, holes-in-the wall, and out of the way places. They often are diamonds in the rough with some of the best food around. I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken enchiladas I ordered had a really nice flavor and just the right hint of spice. Best of all, the chicken itself was nicely seasoned. I’ve been to one too many places that rely on what is on the enchilada for flavor. Dos Amigos tends to make drier enchliadas than I like. I really wanted more green sauce, but the avocado and sour cream were just right. The rice was light and fluffy and the beams had a nice flavor. The chips were good, but I really didn’t care for the salsa. I will definitely go back and try some other things.

I don’t know how it is with your family, but with mine every restaurant is a family style restaurant. Translation, every dish that gets ordered turns into a family-style dish, where everyone gets to try a taste of each dish. Like it or not, you gotta be prepared to share a little. We hit a wide variety on the menu, like the roasted chicken, enchiladas suizas, chile Colorado, and I had chorizo and eggs, nice that you can get breakfast all day there. Everyone enjoyed everything, good rice and whole beans, which were topped with fresh pico, guacamole though not spicy was tasty too. Their table salsa was a little spicy though. And the server was nice enough to give us a whole pitcher of ice tea when three of us ordered it. Mexican beers are $ 3 all the time there, wish this place was a bit closer to home!

Three of us ate here last week. We all thought it was horrible. We ordered a mushroom quesadilla and it was dripping in grease. My enchilada was just a big stack of cheese and the chicken seemed iffy. Tamale was okay. One of my friends’ orders was incorrect. Didn’t matter too much because she didn’t want to eat it anyways. Blech all around. Taco Bell would have been much better.

Well — we liked it. A lot as a matter of fact. Traveling up up the 101 on our way to Safari West in Santa Rosa the wife had to use the loo. Like RIGHTNOW. So we got off the freeway and drove down a road with nothing for the longest mile until we got to a little town with a cute little Mexican Restaurant on the corner. It was just before the noon hour, the menu looked good and only a few people were inside. The place was clean, and our server was very friendly. We ordered a few $ 5 express burritos, a fish taco, and pork tostada. My wife had a very tasty chicken enchilada. Though it became busier and there was only one waitress service was fast and totally fine. The bill came in under $ 40. for five of us. We left happy — end of story. A total recommend.

I used to like this place but NOT if they are going to lie to me. They close at 2pm for lunch. We arrive 10 minutes before 2pm. The door is lock. But people are inside and outside in the patio eating. Finally somebody comes to the door, looking at us like we are crazy. I’ve checked the time, it’s 1:53pm. He asks us what we want. What do you think we want? We want to give you money for food!!! He says they are closed. I asked if they have closed early and he says no, they close at 2pm. I show him my cell phone time [which I had verified is correct just recently] and tell him it’s not yet 2. He ignores me and says they close at 2. I tell him we drove over from across town [actually a greater distance] for lunch. He doesn’t even say sorry, but reiterates they are closed because it’s «past two». Ok, so this review was drafted some time ago but after rereading it, I’m pissed off again just remembering the experience. Bad Bad Bad customer service. Tell me you are closed but do not lie to me about reality. Loco you, not me!!!
