Good atmosphere and the food is tasty. The wooden decoration gives the place a warm feeling. Jukebox to play your music of you’d like. Great to watch soccer during tournaments!

This was my third visit on a Thursday night. Brazilian bands all three nights. Samba and pagode music and dance. Drinks are reasonable. Food can be purchased. A great Irish Pub to socialize.

We drove all the way to this place this morning, website says it opens at 9.00am for Irish breakfast and I’m from Dublin so was delighted. We waited till 10.30am and no one showed up? Unbelievable. So ticked off and disappointed. Not a good way to get business :( I called twice, got the machine and asked for a call back but didn’t get that either. So much for customer service. We went to the near by Muldoon’s instead and it was fantastic. Really lovely staff and great food.

Great neighborhood bar, good food that’s reasonably priced and great staff. They have cover bands on the weekend and depending which one, they pack the house.

Came in with a couple of friends to enjoy the comedy show. Decided to order a sandwich from the bartender who was being a super douche. He didn’t ask us what side we wanted with our sandwich or didn’t answer when we asked if any onions came on it. He just turned around and ignored us. Anyways our sandwiches came out and the cheap ass cheese isn’t even melted… and the meat is burnt. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the comedy was good.

Every time I had a lot of fun with live music almost every night of the week. Popular with locals and real people. Owner is so friendly and so Irish! This place is really similar to Dublin’s pubs, a place to stop by after work every day. Parking is limited and wish more typical Irish traditional music there though. 4 stars all deserved for the fun experience! 4 Stars!!! Luigius — Thor of Unilocal Energy

This is my favorite Bar on the face of the earth. Never have I had a beer served with the same level of attitude. If you’re looking for a good Band they are here too. Clean bathrooms, Great Food! Excellent Staff! I love this Bar!

I love to go to the harp for the live entertainment, but unless you want to get alcohol poison I wouldn’t recommend drinking anything but beer or water. I would also like to express my opinion on some of the men that work behind the bar to have some class. It doesn’t matter what a customer does to you. Don’t take it so personally that you have to vomit words that are cruel out of your mouth. Some of my gal pals would not join us here tonight because one of the bar tenders were rude to them and used vile words.

The food is great, the drinks are well made and the service is outstanding. What a fun place to go to have a pint. It has a great Irish Pub atmosphere. Its both my wife’s and my favorite place to go on a Friday night.

This place is awesome. I saw on Unilocal that they have comedy nights on Tuesday nights so I came with a friend to check it out. Surprisingly, all the comics were really funny. The first hour are experienced comics, and the second hour is open mic comics. I think it would be better for their business to have open mic comics open for the experienced ones because more than half the crowd left when open mic started, didn’t even give them a chance. Also there’s no cover charge! Great place to hang out for a drink and have some laughs. Good crowd of mixed ages, but not overly crowded. A little divey, but not super divey. I will change this review to 5 stars once they get their a/c fixed. My friend and I wanted to stay til the end of open mic, but we decided to leave because it got so warm inside. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and will be coming back!

Went for a rugby game. Best place to watch the games, grab a bacon sandwich, and a pint. I like this place and will drive from Dana Point to watch. The owner and bartenders are cool. Only have gone recently in the mornings for soccer and rugby. Worth the drive.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed The Harp yet! It’s an all-around great place. Live music 4 nights a week: I hate DJ music, so it’s live or nothing for me. You can always count on a good band at The Harp. Both drinks and food are at reasonable prices, especially compared to some other local Irish bars. Decent bar food menu – and it’s pretty good, too! And it’s the best place ever to watch soccer! If you go for a US game, get there early, it’ll be packed. One thing I really like is how the place is maintained. They just recently refinished all of the chairs, tables and barstools. Everything looks shiny and brand new. The bathroom is updated – unlike another Irish bar in NB, where the bathroom stall doors hang off of one hinge! When I’m at The Harp, I feel like they care for the customers and work hard to keep it a nice place. And the staff is always friendly and nice. See you there for music, food and soccer!

Ugh! I love dive bars but more than likely not going back here. I went to support a friend that was playing there. It is your typical dive bar but not sure if that makes sense? Place is dingy(but it is a dive bar right?). The bartenders had to also serve as your waiters if you sat at a table. So between ordering drinks and food there were long waits. And would it kill them to smile? Just sayin! Drinks weak, food was eh. Good thing I like my friends music!

First time going out for St. Pattys and ended up at The Harp Inn. I’m a light beer drinker but they ran out so I stuck with the Guiness and this is what I guzzled down all night– blessing in disguise because I don’t mind dark beer now, haha. Bartenders here are super friendly– even for a packed house– the waitresses, not so much but I can understand that on a busy night like St. Pattys one can forget about customer service with a bunch of drunkards around Still got our food order in and the Irish nachos were bomb– dipped in sour cream! $ 5 cover that night.

I’ve never been to Ireland(unless you count that layover in Shannon Airport), but I’m pretty certain that The Harp Inn is one of the most authentic Irish pubs in OC. Why? — Irish owners. — Attentive staff. — Good Irish beer selection, e.g., Guinness, Harp, Smithwick’s. — Irish breakfast served all day. — Great fish and chips. Very generous portions of both and not too greasy, with tartar sauce and malt vinegar on the side. Delicious! — Friendly patrons, especially if you wear green during Eagles games(fans have recently adopted The Harp Inn as their new local). — Irish(and other) bands perform throughout the week. — Pub quiz every Wednesday. My wife and I are undefeated(we retired after one win). — They show Premier League, whatever that is(I guess you just root against the English? What if two English teams are playing?) I didn’t notice their whiskey selection, so I checked their website: «Full range of spirits and cocktails. Irish Coffee with fresh whipped cream.» «The Most Authentic Irish Pub in Orange County, California.» There you have it. Sláinte! Tip: When I was last there on a Saturday afternoon, they had a bottomless Bloody special for $ 10 with entrée. The Harp Inn: where day drinking is simply called«drinking».
