The Couples Coach

Save your money for a more professional and knowledgeable counselor. My fiancé and I went there for premarital counseling. We are planning our wedding for next Valentines day. Half way through the first 1 hour session she told us we should break up and go our separate ways. She also said no further couples counseling would help us solve our arguements. It seemed like she kept listening to us for the whole hour so we would have to pay her fee. We have been together since New Years and this made me very sad. This is the first time I have been to couples counseling since I have never been married. My friends told me we should ask for a refund because marriage and family counselors should not treat clients that way.

Lisa is fantastic. I took a course with her to learn how to be a life coach, myself. She taught me my role as a coach and how to implement the skills I learned in my own practice. She is kind, animated, and extremely helpful.

This place is the BEST. Lisa took the time to speak with me. She was and is genuinely interested in helping others. She shows she cares in the little things she remembers and she doesn’t give up. It is way better then counseling. I will take Lisa as my coach ANYDAY. Your doing yourself and your relationships in general a great help by calling Lisa and getting healthy. It’s a necessary move I needed with a certain situation and Lisa has been there for us. For me. (:

Cool Coaching
I’m going to put myself on blast and let it be known that I booked a session for me and my babydaddy this past Thursday. Not knowing what to expect, we came in with a vision of psycho-​babble and awkwardly airing out our feelings.
The verdict?
It wasn’t half bad! Our coach Lisa was nice and systematically showed us she cared for our progress as a couple. We could have used a better introduction & a structured run down, but looking @ the entire picture. it turned out to be a nice way to poke, prod, and get things out in the open. Sure, I’d like to have the session laid out like a table of contents or an itinerary. THAT’S a total personal preference. I’m sure we can work something out during our next visit.
The Couples Coach is the very first GOOGLE AD I’ve ever clicked on and I wasn’t too disappointed in the outcome. Their little motto is that their better then therapy and half the price. At $ 79 a session, it was worth a try. Especially when they have a pretty good first timers deal. The establishment isn’t the most stylish but the rooms are made to feel comfortable & ready with a box of tissues. As for my situation, we’ll see how things progress. I was completely pessimistic about this relationship but after our first session… I wouldn’t put anything past me. I guess that’s what this place is all about.
