Jim is the best with spas. He fixed my aging spa and made it good as new, perhaps even better than new. He replaced the cover, lift and jets. So much better than getting a new spa which would have been more money, time, and bother. He is professional, knowledgeable, and gave me great advice on how to handle the spa care with chemicals. Great work thank you Jim for our new spa.

I called Jim when one of the pumps on my Sundance jacuzzi began leaking. Over the next day or two, Jim contacted me by phone and texted me with follow up questions and even asked me to take a couple of pics of the pump. Jim proactively reached out to Sundance before he showed up for the call and found that the pump was still under warrantee. This saved me a great amount of money. Jim spent about 90 minutes fixing the new pump and even helped me with a Clear Ray error and gave me a good lesson in adding pool chemicals. Jim is very personable, and he even texted me a reminder list the day after the call, showing me the exact amount of chemicals I should use and when. If I encounter any more jacuzzi issues-I will certainly call Jim again-Thanks Jim!

I called Jim for a spa cover and he came out at the time he said measured it up and made several suggestions. The cover came in the time frame he said and has been great. I had a issue with my spa overheating I called Jim he walked me through the whole process of changing my programming over the phone. Had an old Charisma Spa that stopped heating. I have two young girls and no hot tub wasn’t going to fly for long. I contacted my manufacturer of the heater unit and was referred to Jim. Called at least two other repair guys that just referred me to dead ends. Jim called me back and we scheduled an appointment. He came right on time with a call prior to so I could get home from work. He was upfront about costs and diagnosed my unit in no time. Turned out to be a fried board and he gave me a couple options for repair. I chose what I though best with no pressure. He even came inside and checked out replacement option on the web with me. Jim up spending twice the time he quoted me on, at no fault to him but a factory recommended board that was not a perfect fit. He knew what to do and did it. Honored his original quote even though it took way longer than either of us anticipated. Also got a new Made in the USA Spa Cover ordered through him. I recommend Spa-Tech for any spa repair that you want done right. Completely satisfied. 5÷27÷2015 My Spa cover was made and Jim came and installed it. Really nice Spa Cover and it looks great. The medium weight was perfect and its really solid. I was not able to come home to meet Jim for the delivery and was very pleased to come home to it all installed perfectly and with no packaging left for me to deal with. Once again Spa~Tech was 5 stars. I was able to pay the balance over the phone with a credit card and promptly got my receipt via email. Great business to call if you want it done right!

Jim knows spas. He is honest and will get the job done right. I have had him fix our Catalina Islander spa since 2013. If anything ever needs fixed or I have questions about anything concerning the spa, I know we can trust him.

Spoke to Jim on the phone about issues I was having with my hot tub. He was able to tell me over the phone it was a pump issue(good) and what it would cost. He told me it would cost $ 65 to come to my house to confirm, and that could be taken off any repair. Sounded ok, so I agreed. Once he got to my place he told me I would need two pumps and the total repair would be $ 2,000 including a new cover(more than the tub is worth). Fair enough. Charged an extra $ 95 for labor and $ 65 for house call, so ended up draining $ 160 when I was expecting $ 65.

I found Jim and his company Spa Tech Spa Repair through Unilocal.Jim was able to diagnose the problem through a couple phone calls and pictures I sent him. Once he got the parts, he came out to my house the next day(Saturday) and did a great job! Jim is an all around good guy, took time to explain to me what caused the problem with the spa, what he was doing to fix it and how to prevent future problems. Considering his level of expertise, his prices were well worth it and when he said he is the best at what he does, he backed it up with his work. Jim is definitely the man to call when you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable spa tech.

After ordering a new cover and having electrical work done on the jacuzzi they were ok. When the film deposits problems started Jim Nance said to use an algizide which became a tar deposit on my tile. When called and asked about the problem he said my tile was old. He has zero customer support. Comes across as a guy who knows all but will gladly pass the buck.
