Was craving a breakfast burrito this morning and stopped by this spot. $ 5.82 for a Chipotle sized sausage breakfast burrito. This place is kind of a hole in the wall type spot but the staff were really friendly and it took maybe 5 minutes for them to whip up my burrito. Their salsas are also handmade and very delicious. I definitely will become a regular at this spot :)

The food was fine at first but now it is getting gross. My boyfriend and I went there often so we noticed the changes. The fries switched and now they are soggy, either with zero salt or something that almost tastes sweet. The hamburgers are more giant chunks of lettuce than meat. Used to love this place, but seems like they’re cutting corners now. Won’t be going back.

Food is tasty… Girl was really sweet. The peppers are a nice addition. Very well priced as well. Probably better if I would have eaten there opposed to taking it to go!

So good. So, so good. The breakfast burrito is delicious and filling. Chorizo and egg is the best. The burger and fries combo is delicious and cheap.

I have been going here for a while, but I will never go again. i also have never given a review. But i have to in this case. Order a steak sandwich, it had a bone in it. gave it the benefit of the doubt. Had another bite more of the same. Then I talked to girl who served me about getting my money back and she said I had eaten most of it NO. Then she lied about having no manager there, The owner was there he came out and argued with me about giving my money back. I told them to do the honorable thing, still said no. I told them I will tell everyone about this I’ve been here 40 years. finally they did, but really if someone is not happy about there food and don’t eat almost all of of it you give them anything they want. Maybe things are different in the old county. But I know everyone. And I’m going to tell them about this. Go anywhere else not here.

11:30am. Ordered burger special. Took 15 minutes to get it. Ordered dine in gave it to me in a bag. Burger bland. Endless stream of homeless people in and around the place.

Solid little café, prices cannot be beaten! I stopped off in here many a time when I was living in Costa Mesa and needed a big breakfast before work. The coffee is its best asset, really drinkable with a nice buzz — I think it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. The waitresses are friendly but you can tell they’re not all that happy. It’s a nice cosy little building, but seems a bit run down. Paul(or real owner), maybe raise every meal by a buck or two so you can pay your staff a little more and everyone will be a winner! With its location and brave range of food it could be an absolute gem and become truly famous one day.

This place has the BEST breakfast burritos, I have never had a problem here except for this one time a cashier was fighting with the cook, there burgers are a hit or miss, they’re either really good or they’re not art all, I got stomach problems once but I don’t judge off that one time.

The chili dog was meaty and flavorful. It had just the right amount of melted cheese. I ordered it with a salad. Would definitely buy again.

Trying several burger restaurant, I think this place is the best to eat a great burger. I went twice and I ate a cheeseburger and the second time a double cheeseburger. Yet, the first time a came, I was surprised but in the good way ! I ordered a cheeseburger with all ingredients + fries + coke and the burger was EXCELLENT ! After a few days, I would try another time to confirm. And the second time, the double cheese was EXCELLENT too ! To my mind, if you want to eat a not industrial and very tasty burger, you must try it ! After that, fries are good but I prefer thin fries ^^

Decided to try this place instead of In-N-Out across the street. Sometimes I’d rather support small businesses!(Do it!) We ordered the pastrami combo(sandwich + fries + drink) and the fried chicken dinner plate(chicken + fries + salad). I honestly wasn’t expecting anything special since the restaurant itself didn’t look too nice. Lots of seats available in a tiny place. Very small parking lot. You go up to the cashier, order and they give you a number to bring your food to you. The cashier was very nice! :) BUT everything was way better than I thought it would be. The pastrami wasn’t the best I’ve had but still really tender and not too salty(sometimes it is, for me) and the fried chicken was amazing!!! So random, getting fried chicken at a burger joint-ish place.(I thought they would be chicken strips) The skin was so crispy and not too oily. The meat was juicy. NOM. And I love the thick fries they serve in burger joints! Perfectly crispy, too. I definitely would get both again! Outdoor seating was available, which we were ecstatic about because the weather was so nice! If you’re ever wanting to kill time at the Costa Mesa DMV, go across the street and eat at Paul’s!

Yummy food, large menu selection. Your typical grill food, burgers and breakfast. GREAT breakfast burritos! Other food is good too but I usually got for the breakfast burritos during football season for me and our friends. 4 stars because they charge you to use a card. :/ (This building is a former TK Burger) Go get yourself some breakfast! #breakfastburritos

Paul’s is solid. Have gotten a bacon avocado cheeseburger from here and it was pretty good. Not too different from Tom’s a few blocks away lol Fries were good. Beef wasn’t too flavorful but generous on the fries and the avocado. I think it was around $ 8 for the combo with a drink Breakfast here is a steal before 930am. Got hash brown, bacon, 2 eggs, and toast for $ 4. Great deal. You can substitute hash browns in the combo for pancakes or French toast. The French toast looked really good too, may have to try it next time. Price and quality were great. Even the service was great considering it was two people taking care of everything and about 7 different individuals. Breakfast burrito looked good from what I saw next to me as well. Call ahead to place an order if you’re rushed.

New owners and they can’t cook my dog would not even eat the patty. Really my dog smelled it and walked away. Miss the old owners.

I had an okay burger here on one occasion, but lets get real. Is this place even famous? Don’t you think that term gets thrown around way too often? How many people have to know about a place before they can justifiably call themselves famous. I just don’t think Paul’s has crossed the fame threshold in order to be entitled to that name.

I started going to Paul’s when it first opened and the restaurant with awesome it’s now been taken over by a new owner and it is literally the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life I ordered the club sandwich the other day and it was the worst food ever. Turkey the bacon was horrible the ham was horrible the American cheese was horrible and the French fries were undercooked I will never go back there again

So upset. My girl and I were craving a good burger. She wanted In and Out and I convinced her to go to Paul’s. I love TK Burger and was down with Paul’s until tonight. We got through most of it before she bit into a rubber band. It was so nasty. Never again. Sucks because the food tastes good but you can’t forget something like this.

I was a little surprised to find asian workers/managers? The ambiance reminds me of George’s place in orange, ca The place is oldschool grilled hamburgers I got a combo and upgraded to chili cheese fries with my blt sandwich The blt sandwich was pretty standard nothing special The chili cheese fries could either be good or bad, these were sadly the latter :( The chili is standard out of the can no flavor chili and the fries well not very flavorful or crunch I don’t know if i would ever go back and try a burger, but from the flavor profile of the food I have tried it’s safe to say I will not be venturing this way anytime too soon

You won’t find a better joint for breakfast burritos. We come here when we want to treat ourselves to a hearty and very tasty treat to start the weekend. The décor and building doesn’t look fancy but don’t let that detract you. If you want a damn good breakfast burrito… this is it.

Paul’s rocks. If you love greasy spoon diner food as much as I do, don’t miss this place. This girls at the front are always super nice & they give you a number and bring your food out to you. I’ve had the breakfast burrito here several times and it’s pretty yummy. They will even make it with egg whites for you if you ask them. Paul’s is my go to spot before I hit up the Goodwill across the street for some treasure hunting. The last time I was in Paul’s there was an entire family in here having a First Communion celebration. Awesome! The next time I go to Paul’s I’m going to try the pancakes… they look super yummy!
