OC Eye Designs Optometry

Wonderful staff and excellent doctors. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our appointments. My teen needed contact lenses for the first time & his exam was a breeze. The staff was very patient in teaching him how to put in the contacts in his eyes. His trial prescription arrived in 2 days and once again, the staff took the time in making sure he felt comfortable putting his lenses into his eyes. I also have received my eye exams at this facility and each time, I am greeted with a smile and given good care. I would recommend to purchase your frames elsewhere, though, if your insurance allows. Frames here are high-​end and expensive, in my opinion. Took my prescription & purchased my glasses at Costco for about $ 100 less than what I have paid at this office in the past. Contacts are a tad less at Costco too. Just a little tip.

Awful experience here.
The people working in the front office are completely inept. They don’t know how to handle insurance, orders, basic math and organization skills.
I went in expecting to pay $ 20 only to be told after my exam that I had to pay $ 150 because they didn’t handle my insurance properly. That is over SEVEN times the original cost. If I knew that it would cost $ 150 I would have called other offices and see if I had better options.

This place was horrible I’ve never had such a bad experience before. Renee helps me and has the worst customer Service I have ever experienced. She continually rolled her eyes at me and spoke down to me and repeated the phrase «I work at LensCrafters for 13 years» at least three times. When I did get my sun glasses (two weeks later) they came back horrible. They were not dark like I asked, as well as the tint had been cut off the edges of the lenses. I informed Renee of this and her first response was «well I didn’t tint them» finally she agreed to send them back. Today after another two week i got to pick up my glasses and they are worse then before.
I would never recommend this place to anyone

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Wald since 1998. We have always received the best care, and feel that they are a part of our family. Renee, Dexter, Dr. Wald, Donna, and the entire staff have always taken such wonderful care of us, and we wouldn’t think of going to anyone else for our eye care. Excellent treatment across the board! Prompt, pleasant reception. Detailed explanations by Dr. Wald. All questions answered. Very pleasant support staff. Convenient location. Parking right at the door.

If there was a Zero Star — I would. Lets start here; #1 — They messed up my prescription and prescribed glasses that were too strong. #2 — They messed up my bill and overcharged me. If my wife wasn’t in Medical Billing we would have been suckered into paying. #3 — Number 2 took over 4 months to resolve. #4 — They must have multiple email servers sending out various mail because I’ve now unsubscribed from 3 different mailing addresses.

I found this Office on Unilocal with very good reviews and that’s the reason I went there.
I do agree with the excellent reviews about Doctor Ansari.
My experience with the office and billing has been less than pleasant.
I called the office to set an appointment I was asked to email the office my insurance information, I send my vision insurance, I received a call back from the office asking for my medical insurance as well, ok? I send both.
I went in, Doctor Ansari took vey good care of me, I was very happy. I paid my co pay all good.
After 2 months I received a bill with a balance due, I call the office and was told it was they made a mistake and they will correct it.
with in 2 weeks I did receive a bill with $ 0 monies due and paid in full stamped. Awesome.
About 2 months passed, I received another bill with a balance due.
Again I called the office and spoke with Maria Rojas, I asked to speak with office manager she informed me that they do not have an office manager.
I explained my situation to her and she said she thinks there was a mistake in their customer service, she does not know how this could have happened.
I actually have 4 bills all deferent for the same visit.
I end up paying the money, I did not want this to go against my credit.
Although I liked the doctor vey much I will not be going back and can not recommend this office.
No office manager? Don’t know what happened? Just doesn’t cut it in this day and age.

Not only is this office gorgeous, but the service is excellent and they are open on Saturdays. Dr. Ansari was extremely thorough in her explanations so I didn’t leave feeling confused at all. The staff is friendly and informative, but not pushy at all. They also have an awesome selection of designer glasses. I would definitely recommend OC Eye Designs to everyone!

Best optometry office I’ve been to. Everyone is very professional. I’ve never waited longer than 5 min past my appointment time. The Drs are also very courteous and knowledgable.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Doctors clearly explained all portions of the procedures. Easy in and out experience. Usually doctor visits give me slight anxiety, but they really put me at ease even though eye dilation is pretty uncomfortable. That’s the only criticism I have actually; that big bright windows look nice, but are inconvenient when you’ve just had your eyes dilated. ;P

Great office! I walked in to look at some glasses and was nicely greeted. Rolando immediately helped me. I took a long time looking and trying on many pairs of glasses, and Rolando was very professional and patient with me. He even called my insurance to verify my benefits, and gave me a follow up call to give me the status on my glasses. The office is very stylish and has a pleasant atmosphere. I’ve never seen the optometrist, but plan to get my next eye exam at this office.

Went in to have two of my sunglasses tightened. I immediately noticed the décor. It’s bright, clean and stylish. The woman who helped me was super friendly and even offered suggestions on how to preserve the quality of one of my sunglasses. When she was done I asked how much I owed them and she said no charge! I was so surprised because I was expecting them to charge at least $ 5 or $ 10. So nice!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing glasses!

This is by far the best eye doctor experience I’ve had. The office staff, doctor and opticians are all friendly, professional and thorough. My husband and I both feel that this office has a staff that really cares about your eye health, getting you not only the right prescription, but the right glasses and make sure that they fit perfectly (even if you have to come back 3times for adjustments (like I did). I’m very happy with my glasses and this office is a huge reason why! The great service continued months after, adjustments needed and made without any issues.

I took in three pairs of eyeglasses that required repairs. Renee at OC Eye Designs replaced the nose pad on one pair, and tightened the screws the other: good as new! The third pair of glasses required soldering, which OC Eye Designs was unable to help with, but they referred me to another nearby optometrist who might be able to accommodate. Repairs took about 15 minutes while I waited.
After Renee finished, I asked what the bill would be for her time. She said no charge. I asked if I could pay to cover the cost of materials, but she declined. Looks like the business will have to settle for a positive Unilocal review. I was suitably impressed by the friendliness of the staff at OC Eye Designs that I’m planning to go there for my next pair of glasses.

Super friendly staff. Excellent communication about appointments and follow up. Very professional and thorough. I was provided guidance on insurance benefits and not pushed to hurriedly make decisions, I really appreciated this. I highly recommend that my family and friends go here.

I’ve been going to Dr. Wald for years and I’ve never been disappointed. This is a very professional place, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Wald is a great doctor, very patient, very thorough, and explains everything she does so you know exactly what is being done and why.
I highly recommend OC Eye Designs, my whole family goes there and I drive over 30 miles just to go there. Yes I can change to place closer to home but why change a good thing!

Very professional place. Doctors make you feel very comfortable. Relaxed environment. They are super nice and have great customer service.
They go above and beyond what is standard for their patients. Quick story: I was actually out of contacts (forgot to order enough) and was headed out of town with my last pair. To be safe, I called their office to see if I could run by to grab a spare pair from them, and they gave me some at no charge!
