O.C.T.C. Pancake Run 5k

Once again I had a blast at the pancake run. I did this 5k last year and it was one of the more organized and favorite runs of mine. You don’t really get a medal (which I’m kinda bummed about) but you do get a really good quality t-​shirt. This year’s t-​shirt was simply amazing. Its all orange and the material was pretty good quality.
As far as the run, its about 3 miles. There are some steep inclines (just maybe 2, a small one and a super large one). There is only one water station which is ok since the 5k itself wasn’t all that difficult. The surface was mainly flat and being that it is located at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa it was quite a beautiful scenary. Parking can be bad if you come late but you can always park at Estancia High School located next door.
Once the race is finished (I did mine in 50 mins #sad) they quickly mark your number and you go and receive your pancake breakfast as reward (kinda defeats the purpose?) but these pancakes are extremely delicious. They also have a raffle too where they have some really really cool prizes. Overall this is one awesome event that I have participated in for 2 years straight. I’ll definitely return for a third year.
