I loved Musink this year! I specifically went to see Blink 182 and The Art of Sketch but I loved walking up and down the aisles of the convention watching the tattoo artists at work. It was so awesome to hear the buzzing of the tattoo guns going nonstop. Loved the festival and I can’t wait to go next year!

Awesome music, car and tattoo show. Went on Sunday for prayers, yelawolf and blink-182.

Gets worse every year. It’s more about the music then the tattoos. They blast the music which makes a consult with the artists very difficult.

Come out looking like Henry Rollins. Not as big as I thought it would be. I think it’s a great start to be something bigger though, like the ones that are out in San Fran.

This was my first Musink. I went Friday to see Bad Religion & Guttermouth. The main issue I have is the ticket pricing strategy. By no means were the tickets unreasonable, let me get that out of the way. However, observe the following: 1) Tickets were advertised at $ 25. 2) The only way to purchase GA tickets in advance was on Ticketmaster, which tacked on a hefty service charge(of course) bringing the true presale price to over $ 36. I was not interested in this option so I opted to wait until the day of the show. 3) I show up on the Friday afternoon to the little Musink box office to find that day-of-show prices INCREASED to $ 30. Yes, it’s only $ 5. Yes, it’s not unheard of — dare I say common — to increase prices the day of. However: 4) There was NO advance mention of this price increase. The web site, as stated above, simply advertised tickets as $ 25. Of course when I checked the website after the show Friday night they had conveniently updated to say $ 30 at the door. This just reeks of unscroupulous-ness, in my mind. I expected better of the Musink people and was disappointed by this move. However, I still bought my ticket and went and enjoyed myself. And obviously others did too. And so they have no incentive to discontinue this practice in the future. It’s just unfortunate.

Had a great time at this show. Lots of great tattoo artists around along with great music. Pennywise was awesome since Jim Lindberg sang for their 25th year reunion. Found a guy that will be doing my first tattoo as well!

This was an awesome art, tattoo, & musik festival!!! Next year I think I might have to get some ink done! There were live bands entertaining and tons of tattoo guns buzzing!!! There was even a mini skatepark set up in the center of the event. What a way to bring the inked up community together.

I was invited by a Unilocal Elite to check out the event. It was my first time at Musink this year. I really enjoyed the event, had a blast, & made new friends. If you’re into punk rock & tattoos, go to next year’s event for sure.
