Gary Spatz’s the Playground Orange County

My son enjoys his classes here at The Playground. He says it is the best acting school he has attended so far, much better than a well-​known school for kids in Hollywood where he took classes for a couple of months. He has learned a lot and continues to learn and grow.
I don’t recommend this conservatory for families looking to gain instant fame for their children. I’ve seen other reviews for the LA location from parents who were seeking TV and film jobs immediately. That is something that families have to pursue on their own if they really want it. I believe there are no shortcuts to becoming an actor. You can’t expect fame and success without proper training and experience.
My son doesn’t have an interest in becoming famous. He has a passion for learning and expressing himself through acting. Maybe that’s why he loves this conservatory. If he decides to act professionally in the future he will pursue it himself.

at no time did I aspire to have my kids become engaged in acting. however my son had a speech impediment, and the carefully constructed verbal games and exercises quickly made such a huge improvement in his ability to communicate effectively I was convinced this is a great place for him to gain confidence and poise when speaking. As a Mom, this is a solid and supportive environment for my child, as a performer, this gives my children the competitive edge in all their performances in martial arts and equestrian events. Thanks Mr. Spatz!

This place has a great vibe! It’s filled with bright colors, smiling faces and the sounds of children having fun!
