I’m obsessed with Chipotle, but I never thought to leave a review until after my experience tonight! I went in right as they were closing(about 10 – 15 minutes before), and they were still so nice. I worked in the food industry and I hated when people would come in last minute, so I know how hard it is to be nice and welcoming. Jackie especially was SO nice and we talked and had a nice conversation and even though this isn’t the location closest to my house, I want to come back to this one just because of her!

Zero stars if I could eating my burrito bowl and tasted something that wasn’t right turned out to be raw chicken, and check other pieces and there was more raw chicken. Waiting to see how sick I get right now.

This is a very nice location. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the food tasted great as usual. I’d definitely return.

I placed my order online for pick up. Easy process to order and got the email right away. Went to pick it up and drove all the way home only to realize that they missed one of our dinners. Went back and they made us whole by giving some extras. The food was awesome … Fresh, hot, flavorful! I hadn’t been since the health scare last year and it was my first visit to this location.

While I enjoy the food the service I experience was subpar. While having my bowl prepared, the person preparing my food stopped to work on the person behind me food for no apparent reason. Also we was less than generous on the meat portion compared to the person in front of me and behind. It will be a while before I spent my money here.

I eat chipotle at least once a week if not twice. And I always get good customer service and great food. But staff today was above and beyond. Thanks chipotle.

When I first moved to the area I had a few rough experiences with this Chipotle and I completely laid off of this location for quite some time but eventually ended up giving it another shot. For the last year or so I would say I have almost exclusively good experiences probably for two reasons. #1: The E-Coli scare or whatever pathogen it happened to be really seemed to temper the crowds at Chipotle and my experience is when you stand in a shorter line or no line at all the employees seem to be in a better mood resulting in a better over all experience. #2: Despite being treated pretty coldly I really tried to make an effort to be friendly and build rapport with the staff because I really understand that with a job like this you deal with a lot of plain rude people. This paid dividends not necessarily in larger portions though I don’t think it hurt in that department but honestly a friendlier burrito builder really makes it taste better.

I’m not going to write reviews for every Chipotle restaurants out there in Orange county or Los Angeles County that I have been to, i guess I’ll pick the one that was closest to my house. I freaking love their bowl, always go with white rice, barbacoa, salsa, corn and cheese, never got bored of it, unlike hamburgers in In N Out. P/s: If only their food is warmed up properly i would give them five stars

Epic Chipotle fail… I’ve been craving it for weeks to be sadly disappointed. Service — no one ever greeted or acknowledged me. Everyone was soft spoken and no eye contact was made the entire time. Food — gross. Brown rice was overcooked and under portioned. Carnitas was chewy and weird. I asked for veggies as well and got a bunch of onion, hardly any bell pepper. Asked for guacamole & chips. Got an overpriced bag of stale chips with hardly any salty lime flavoring.

Was here on Sunday around 3:30pm On the line was an Asian guy and two Hispanic guys. Customer service SUCKS Not only can I add, I waited extra for«fresh chicken» which was suggested but it was wayyyy too burnt. Like«fresh» burnt chicken. Who wants to eat that let alone wait for it? Anyways the only positive note I had which is why it was 2 stars and not 1 is because of the Asian guy. He was the only one that seemed very attentive, enthusiastic, and had good service. He was super quick. He deserves a raise because he’s the only one I feel keeping the motion going. The two other guys messed up my order. I asked for chips n guac and he dumped guac on my bowl. I think I was very clear. And he just asked me what to do with it… lol like really? He just scooped it out and had lettuce all in it … I had to also get my bfs food and reach over and grab it and ask for a tray since they forgot both. Like what do you want this small Asian girl to do with her bare hands carry two bowls, two drinks, chips n guac and salsa and side of lemon? Lolol really dude. Anywayssss I only came here cuz it was convenient and close to my house. Never coming back ! I feel sorry for the Asian guy.

This Chipotle had quick and fast service! I came here for my free burrito bowl because Chipotle was giving out free coupons due to their E. Coli outbreak and wanted to gain back the trust of their customers. Anyways, my food was delicious! I ordered the chicken bowl and everything in the bowl tasted fresh. In accordance to the news, I’m pretty sure the E. Coli outbreak is over now.

This Chipotle never gets anything right! Idk why I always think when I return I’ll have the correct order! But today I got a salad. I wanted brown rice. The employee said I would have to wait and then proceeded to tell me they will not have brown rice so I had to go with white rice. I ordered black beans, they gave me both pinto and black beans. They forgot my dressing AND chips. Like what else could go wrong. On top of that I orders barbacoa and got the grossest piece EVER. Crunchy and hard meat is definitely NOT what I want.

This location does not know what to do with online orders. I placed my order with Chipotle’s app and selected my pick-up time. I arrived at that time and asked for my order — the cashier was confused where online order receipts printed out, and eventually found it in the back room. Needless to say, my order wasn’t even started. It wasn’t even prioritized after I showed up… several customers were helped ahead of me, despite me putting in my order half an hour earlier. I had specific instructions for extra rice in my burrito, which, although printed on the receipt, were ignored. There were no apologies for anything by the staff — they appeared annoyed at my online order — and I was the more cordial one despite my order being messed up. The burrito was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted, and there wasn’t even an available trash can to throw my receipt in. Will not go back to this location.

Every time I go here I say I will not come back due to poor customer service but after today will NOT return the food was terrible. –ordered salad, last of lettuce in bin, got 4 leaves of lettuce, the that is not a salad –the beans were crusted over on top of serving bin — countertops not clean –food was backed up, nobody was communicating in the back, the staff was not listening to the customers in line –the salad dressing had to be remade due to being too oily, my new dressing was PUREOIL, it was gross. –trash overflowing from bins, messy food containers on straw/utensils/drink stand Chipotle Costa Mesa you have lost my business, if I return I will go to Bristol location.

I love Chipotle. I love that it’s organic and fresh. Today best experience ever: I got a veggie salad and on a salad the guacamole is always on top, the gal that helped me offered to add lettuce to the top so that the guacamole didn’t get wasted by sticking to the lid. Excellent! And pure genius to whomever’ sides it was to serve«baby bags» if chips.

I like this place because it’s right by my place, and I’m grateful I always manage to come at the right time. I’ve had 8⁄10 experiences where the line has gone out the door after my arrival(phew). All the workers have permanent frowns and are Debbie downers, but as long as they fill my bowl to my liking, I don’t mind. You hate your job, just don’t spit in my food and we are cool.

This Chipotle used to be my favorite location due to the juicy chicken. I think my last trip will be my final trip to this location. During the ordering process, I asked for chicken and everything was going well until a piece dropped from the serving spoon onto the service table. The staff member that was helping me quickly tossed it back into my bowl. He saw my horror and asked if I wanted another bowl to be made. Despite the dirty service table that the staff uses to hold the bowls and burritos during service(I assume it becomes dirty from the previously fallen food), I said«no» because it would have been a major waste of food. I reasoned that the chicken had only fallen for a second and that my health would be fine. Although, the staff member asked if I wanted a replacement, I am horrified that he so quickly put the fallen food back into my bowl. This makes me wonder what they do with the food behind the counter that customers usually see.

Came in. Long line and placed my order. The line backed up at the register and i was standing there next in line to pay the cashier gave my food away. Not very happy now that i have to wait for them to redo my order i just waited in line for. To make it worse I was told by the cashier that he didn’t give my food away. And i watched him do it. I got an argument instead of just a redo because of his mistake. I am disappointed and know for a fact I stood in line to order my food. What a joke.

Times change. Tastes change. Do chain restaurants change? I used to think Chipotle was pretty good. At least it was a reasonable meal option within walking distance from where I live. We went a couple of weeks ago to take advantage of the deal where they give you a coupon good for a free meal if you try the sofritas. I was surprised at the line, but it was the dinner hour on a day of a promotion. When it was time to order we found out that the sofritas were 86’ed! They would still honor the deal if we ordered any menu item, though, so I got a veggie burrito with black beans, brown rice, and guacamole(the guac is free with veggie items). This may have been the first time that I had tried the brown rice and I thought the texture was unusually chewy. The burrito as a whole wasn’t all that flavorful, but the tomatillo-red chili salsa was kicking! Chipotle was founded in Denver. Maybe they should serve omelets? This is Southern California, where we eat authentic Mexican cuisine. I will be back for my free menu item. After that? Well… Restaurants occupy real estate, and real estate is all about location. If you’re in an airport or a small town on the East Coast, for example, Chipotle may be a great option. It’s nice to see that the meat that they serve is naturally raised, and they have more than one option for vegetarians and vegans. Here in Orange County, though, we know what real Mexican food is. Eating here is sort of like going to a Subway in Philadelphia. I think I’ll try the sofritas in another menu item(I’ve only had burritos here). If it warrants a review update, you’ll be the first to know, faithful readers!
