Friendly staff and delicious brisket. We got everything to go, but next time we are in town we will certainly eat in!

Good service still exist. Good people still exist. Places like this need to always exist.
This was probably the best service I’ve encountered in years. My girlfriend and I finished ziplining and needed a place to eat before rafting. We were actually 15 minutes early so the owner came out and gave us complimentary mozzarella sticks for our patience. After he walked us to our table, we had some small talk with the owner which we found very welcoming and not bothersome at all. He gave us great recommendations on food, life tips, and a list of place to visit in the area!
GF ordered brisket sandwich which she loved and I ordered the chicken fried streak. The quantity/​quality of food you get for the price is amazing! We had to take our food to-​go since it was soo much but It was really delicious! My favorite was actually the sides. I don’t want to spend too much time talking about the food but instead on the service.
This mom and pop place is probably my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to bc of the amazing service. Half way through my meal he stopped by to give me a newspaper as a souvenir. I also requested if they sold any ice and he ranted on our he HATES how places take advantage of tourist by up charging their food. So he offered to fill up my entire cooler with ice for free! I really hope I return here when I come visit again down the road. PLEASE make this place a visit if you’re in the smokies! You won’t regret it.

Stopped by, considered eating there, but it was dead. 2 cars in the parking lot. It looked like their kitchen was a trailer on the side of the building with industrial vents coming out of it.
Read the menu posted outside the entrance: there was an odd and alarming statement the went something like «If your meal includes a drink and you order a water, that is your drink. We will not serve you water and another drink.»
Decided to leave.

We chose 2 of the specials for Saturday evening: smoked chicken leg and the half rack of ribs. Total $ 46. Plastic cutlery and paper plates. Well the food was OK and service was good but for this price I expect a real metal knife and fork, with a real plate.
The general store was well stocked with interesting products and brands.
