Clare is a licensed massage therapist and has been doing this full time for fifteen years. She is extremely capable, professional, and friendly.
I have been to Pangaea Massage several times over the years for sports massage (after running a marathon) and for treatment of sore muscles due to physical labor. It was great to find a massage therapist in this area who is really good at deep tissue massage.
Clare did her initial training at the Connecticut school of massage therapy in Westport and then returned there years later to serve on the faculty, teaching massage therapy to new practitioners.

I am a therapist myself, and have had many thousands of massages for my spine which is fused with rods… and Claire is one of the best therapists I have ever had. I highly recommend her for anyone with special disabilities, also for deep tissue or sports massage. She got all my terrible tough knots out! She is so lovely and very kind as well!

I had an aromatherapy massage from Clare Wilson, owner of Pangaea Massage and it was THE BEST MASSAGE I’VE EVER HAD!!! Clare mixed scented massage oils together just for me and she gave me the rest to take home. Her office is very tranquil and tastefully designed, I felt so comfortable. I like deep massages and Clare is the massage therapist that was able to fill those shoes. I had neck surgery and her touch on my surgery sight was perfect… she is very experienced. I’m eager to try the Hot Stone Massage, and she has a massage called Soul to Sea that I’d love to have as well. I cannot say enough good things. I live in NYC and I will visit Cos Cob every time I need/​want a massage from now on. Here’s a link to her website
