This library is very cute, convenient and offers a ton of services to its local community. They have a wide array of books to read from and enough computers to assist anyone in need of free internet access. They also offer very reasonably priced classes and some free courses in writing and acting. They have ACT/​SAT sign up and have a lot of resources for you to use at your finger tips. The youth I work with love to come here and participate in their free activities as well as read their books. If your looking for something fun and educational to do with your kids on a rainy day I definitely recommend coming to the old downtown corydon area for the historic sights and fun activities they have to offer, especially the public library.

What do you get when you take an old bank, keep the pretty fixtures including the vault, add some mechanical collapsible bookshelves and a coffee station? A pretty swell library in Corydon kids!
I was visiting family and this little gem was perfect for checking work emails and keeping tabs on the minions. My only –1 star was for the really, really, really uncomfortable furniture. Seriously, my rear end ached from the hard as concrete couches and chairs. I snuck into the kids area just so I could have something squishy to sit on but eventually the little rascals chased me off.

I live in a very rural area. The internet service available here is via satellite. It’s slow and expensive and does more to piss me off than connect me with the world.
When I really need to wander through the world wide web, I haul my fat ass and my laptop to the library. The WiFi is decent and hard-​wire LAN jacks are available for those of us who still need to feel connected to something.
There is a decent selection of books (of course) available. The DVD selection is pretty awesome.
And the staff is usually fairly friendly. I have had a couple of obstinate old ladies clutch the policy and procedures manual to their heaving bosoms whilst telling me that the items I have asked for are restricted so I’m knocking off a star just because I feel that turnabout is fair play.
