We are so spoiled to have Purple Moon available as our main coffee spot! Love the eclipse! It’s a great place for a quick smoothie on the go, too. I’m so hooked that anytime I travel back East I buy a bag of freshly ground, locally brewed Pacifica coffee to bring with me :) Best coffee spot around with incredibly reasonable prices.

I was in town visiting my son in college and stopped in for my morning Americano for the drive back home. I was astounded to find myself drinking the best Americano I have ever tasted.
I have been buying beans and grinding daily for 30 years. Using the best water and many methods of brewing over the years. Truly there must be some very dedicated people making a lot of really smart small decisions all the way from selecting beans, roasting and finally brewing. I wish I had left more of a tip.

The coffee is just OK. For those who are big fans of St*rbucks mediocrity, this will seem a step up, but for those who prefer a superior drink, expect to be underwhelmed.

A delightful find conveniently located in the parking lot of the co-​op!
Excellent coffee drinks. Superb smoothies. Ecologically minded business. Friendly service. Drive thru or walk up. What else could you ask for?
I’ve enjoyed many mochas and have not had a bad one yet.
If you want a fresh wheatgrass shot, here’s your place (just be patient — they grow their own wheatgrass and it takes a little time to get the juice out of it)!
The peanut butter smoothie is something of excellence. =)

In a car full of five people, every one of our drinks was horrible and bland. None of us ordered the same thing. A friend went back later and had an equally bad experience. They are nice people, but the coffee selection is mediocre at best.
There are much better options for coffee in town.

The place is hit or miss. Italian sodas are good, but it’s difficult to incorrectly mix Torani syrup and sparkling water. We’ve tried a few of the smoothies and they were all lacking in flavor — watery, in fact. I will go back to try the fresh juices and the espresso drinks. hopefully those will warrant return trips, as I really want to like this place.

There are many coffee shops that serve a cup of coffee, but not many that serve up fresh fruit smoothies, baked goods, with all natural ingredients. The owners are a brother and sister who have lived in the Corvallis /​Phillomath area almost their entire life and love conserving the environment. It really shows in the products selections they have. My favorite is the PB&B smoothie — made of peanut butter, bananas, milk or soy milk, honey, and a few other magic ingredients blended with ice. It’s a great source of protein and energy that lasts all day. I encourage you to go check out the Purple Moon Organic Espresso and Juice — you won’t regret it!

Are you a lover of «the bean»? Is good coffee your thing? Do you like fresh, local, organic juice? But you have concerns about where your coffee or fruit comes from, how it’s grown, if the growers are given a fair price, if it has to travel far to get to your palette, and how much waste is generated by your patronage and consumption? Then swing on down to Purple Moon, located in the north end parking lot of the First Alternative Co-​op in Corvallis, Oregon.
They have both a drive-​up AND walk-​up window (always a hit with the kids) and are great folks to visit with. Having trouble choosing something? They always have great suggestions and I haven’t been steered wrong yet! And the prices are well within the range of prices you’d pay for coffee and juice at non-​organic places. And they use recycled material-​based cups, compost much of their waste, and love kids and pets!
In my opinion, you won’t be disappointed.
