Great people!!! Great food! Always a good time even if it’s with the kids or the husband!!! The best place you could ask for.

The salmon is delivered fresh and not frozen which is such a treat this far inland. I also recommend all the salads. They make proper dinner salads that make up an interesting and delicious meal. I had no problem making substitutions with the server.

Literally one of the best dinners I have ever had from a restaurant ever. My tummy was so happy afterward, I could’ve made room to eat the whole thing all over again. I will never forget that meal. Sirloin with butternut squash pilaf, mixed veggies and a side of mashed potatoes. oh and I can’t ever forget even if I tried, the mesmerizing pumpkin CHEESEcake. oh gosh take me back.

We stopped in the late afternoon for a late lunch. It was not busy and we had great service from all of the staff. I had the fish tacos, which were the best I’ve ever had. Big pieces of broiled cod, not breaded like many places. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich that was also excellent, as was the side salad she had. We each had a cobbler for dessert and they were very good too.

We stopped in after a day at Mesa Verde. The kids and mama got burgers which were pretty good. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken which was a kitchen sink dish with a chicken breast in the mix. Mostly I was attracted by the micro brew subtitle on the sign out front. Unfortunately the two I tried were mediocre at best. The stout had a spicy jalapeño hint to it and was flat. The red ale was blah and flat. Our server Tiffany was on point. Family friendly place, try a small pour of the brews and judge for yourself. Word.

We went here because it is a microbrewery in a part of the Colorado where there are not many. We were seated by a child who gave us water and menus. We eventually gave up waiting for some service, although waitresses were swirling about. The place is both an Applebee’s and a bar with muzak. Menu looked promising. Did not have that microbrewery feel.

We stopped for lunch today. Service was very good but not the food. My wife had chicken quesadilla. It was mediocre. She asked for some guacamole with it and they gave her a teaspoon of guacamole for $ 1.25. My friend had a taco salad and it was ok. We shall look elsewhere for a better lunch.

The waitress was friendly and thankfully gave us a sample of the micro beers before ordering them as they were sub-par at best. The food took a very long time despite a scant crowd. I’ve had fresher chips found under my car seat and the salsa was like watered down Rotel tomatoes. I was ready to give up but the stuffed burrito arrived and was actually pretty good. The prices were too high for what was delivered and would not recommended this place.

I was in town on business and came in on St. Patrick’s Day. I had the Red beer(which was tasty) and ordered the corn beef. Surprised(as I have had mixed results with the famed day dish). The beef was slow cooked and came with al dente cabbage(perfect) and potatoes. Beef was so good I ordered a second with cabbage. Only thing missing was a little Colmans. Will come back to try the normal fare, but was very impressed with this special dish. Staff was very friendly and I was glad to have several people ask about my day and wellbeing(I sat at the bar).

I had the vegetarian stuffed«enchos» and my wife ordered the chicken and dumplings. Both seemed homemade, which was not necessarily a good thing; both dishes tasted like someone without much experience had made them from scratch, much like when I cook for myself from an unfamiliar recipe. For beer, I found the coffee stout beer to be a bit light for a stout but not at all bad. The service was very good.

My family and I have tried this place twice since it opened. The first time the service was horrible and slow while the food was sub par. The second time we decided that maybe it was a fluke so we would try it again… bad idea while the resteraunt was pretty empty it took almost two hours to get our food. So if you enjoy bad service and ehh food I would suggest this resteraunt.

Below average — IPA was flat I ended up replacing it with a Stella. Enchiladas were cold and ground beef was obviously sitting in a food warmer as it was dried out. Waitress never asked how the food was and even though we were thinking about dessert after she brought the check before asking about dessert we decided to leave and go to Dairy Queen. When we paid with our credit card they didn’t even provide a pen to fill out the tip and sign. Typical were not from around here service!

The service was ok but not friendly. The server seemed uninterested. The food was NOT worth the price. The taco salad shell tasted old and was burnt. The turkey melt was dry and barley had any meat, it is on a hogie cut in half and we didn’t care to eat the other half. The kids meal has a pudding cup option and the pudding was starting to harden. The building was cool and could have potential but I would not return.

We had a light dinner here of ½ order pasta and all you can eat salad. The price, with tip and no drinks) was $ 22 ish. We thought it was tasty, good waitress. It is a quick dinner place. Probably wouldn’t order anything fancy. But ours was very enjoyable and hit the spot.

I grew up in this town and have known this restaurant since its opening. At first it was great, good food, excellent skillet cookie, but now, horrible service and even worse for food. On my most recent visit, well out of tourist season and not during the lunch rush, somehow the waitress managed to screw up the order not on one dish for the table, but all three. Now part if this may have been the kitchen, but waitress still brought the meal to the table in as small of pieces possible, all dishes cold and unappealing to look at let alone eat. All I have to say is I hope this once fairly good restaurant will turn things around or get some help.

This place sucks. I was driving through on a long road trip and looking forward to a good meal but oh boy, did we run out of luck. I ordered spaghetti and meat balls. First, the sauce tasted like it was straight out of a tomato sauce can without any prep. The meatballs, frozen inside. Really, if you can’t get a simple dish like spaghetti and meat balls right, you don’t deserve to be in business. There was absolutely no concern for the food and it showed. If you don’t care about food, you should not be in the restaurant biz. But I guess in Cortez CO, you can get away with it. Dont’ go here unless you are starving and nothing else is open.

We stopped for lunch on our way to Durango. I was sorry that we did. I would assume two things when going to a micro brewery… good food and good beer. The food was okay, but certainly nothing to write home about. There was nothing memorable about it at all. While I am not a beer drinker, my husband and my uncle each ordered a different beer. Neither liked their own or each other’s. I don’t even think my husband finished his… and this is a man who will drink a pint in 5 minutes because«he’s thirsty.» He remained parched at J Fargo’s. So okay for a needed stop, but certainly not a destination. I would recommend sampling a beer before ordering, though.

Okay, my wife and I ate here just after the regular lunch time on a Wednesday so it was almost empty. We were seated immediately, the drink orders taken immediately and the food service was fast. We ate simple — a couple of salads and a turkey«wrap» — it’s hard to screw up a meal like this so it is no surprise that the food was fresh and tasty. The waitress checked on us frequently and it was a good place to have stopped for lunch in an unfamiliar town. I’d go back. I suppose this visit *may* warrant a fourth star but other than good service and good food(which is what a restaurant is SUPPOSED to have) there was nothing remarkable about it. It sure deserves better than the one-star and two-star ratings from earlier customers. I say try it out.

Came here for dinner after a long day at work and tried a grilled salmon salad. The fish was totally overcooked and was way disappointing. Coworker had the chicken fried steak which he said was edible but wasn’t pleasing his palate very much. Go here to eat but dont expect anything spectacular.
