Sad to say, after spending over $ 1K over the years when this store was located on the opposite end of the mall, I agree with Randy, the service is HORRIFIC! If I could give it zero stars, I would. After being told yesterday by the gal with spiky hair and little round glasses, «then don’t buy anything here anymore» I will not be ever again. Last week, I purchased 4 items, earrings, another carved wood box from Organica and Marilyn’s custom made cards. I wanted to speak with Marilyn to show her how I framed her cards and discuss another Organica piece and to see if the artist could brush up the color on another piece I have. While running numerous errands, I didn’t want to make another trip to the store and NOONE picked up the phone, as it appeared to have been off the hook. I called 22 times over the course of the day last Saturday and when I went into he store to tell them, the same gal with the glasses didn’t seem concerned, but was more focuses on her sushi while she was sitting on the back of the table. Yesterday, I again reminded her and called again 9 times with STILL a busy signal! She doesn’t answer the phone when she has a customer. Susan, hire someone who can walk and chew gum at the same time! This comes from a retired IBMr, retail industry consultant.

I’ve purchased several gift items from Meadowlark and am never disappointed. Neither are those who have received my gifts. They have a wide selection of gifts and their taste is eclectic so there is something there for everyone. Sometimes I just go in to soak up the beauty. Whoever buys for them has exquisite taste. It’s definitely worth a visit.

This little gallery is tucked away in a corner of the Corte Madera Town Center. They have a nice selection of unique gifts. Glass, jewelry, furniture, clothing, and artwork. Many items are produced by local or regional artists. It’s fun to browse but I must admit that I often leave empty-handed. Prices are just too high.
