Loved this place. The only place in Corry to get a decent steak. We’re disappointed they are no longer open. :(

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since learning it had been featured on Restaurant Impossible and we FINALLY got here. We were greeted quickly at the door. The décor was cute. We ordered the homemade stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which were OK, nice and hot out of the oven. My husband ordered a salad, pretty basic, and I got the Soup of the Week, turkey chili, which had a good flavor but I would definitely classify it as a soup more than a chili. My entrée was fettuchini alfredo with steak. The dish was served nice and hot, steak done to order with the majority of the sauce on the steak, lots of dry pasta. The flavor of the portion with sauce was very tasty, though. My husband had the broiled scallops with butter garlic sauce. He said they were good, nothing outstanding, but still worth trying as typical fare. We took a chance on the peanut butter pie for dessert and were disappointed. We’re pretty sure it was from a box in the freezer and not homemade. While eating, a large group who had reserved the«extra» room for a party arrived. Unfortunately it seemed that the restaurant forgot to turn on the heat in that room, so when the room opened we were sitting in a blast of cold air, and the party had to wait in the main room while management put a small heater on to warm up their space. This is winter in Pennsylvania, people! Be prepared! All that said, our young server was very attentive, checking back with us often and always double checking our preferences to be accurate. Well done! Probably won’t make the trip back here again, but glad we tried it.
