I’ve found hair in my tacos, and the lady taking my order had a popped pimple or something with blood coming out. Sick. I haven’t eaten there again, and won’t.

Great place to eat after a long night. The tacos are huge and the tortillas cannot be beat. Their sauce isn’t typical salsa/picante, it’s so much better and isn’t easily copied. No matter the time, prepare for a bit of a wait especially on a Sunday morning. It’s a little small inside but what they lack in space and décor they make up for in tasty food. 4⁄5 only because you have to pay for refills and extra sauce.

This place has really gone down hill in their quality of food and service. Waited at the counter window for well over two minutes while watching employee ignore me. Definitely not worth the wait for a couple of mediocre greasy tacos. Much better places in town if you want tacos.

This place is bomb! The breakfast tacos are to die for, and the homemade tortillas really set it off. The enchiladas are very cheesy(too cheesy for some) and they are very busy Sunday mornings. This place is definitely worth checking out for breakfast!

First time here. and it is Awesome ! I love these tacos! The places is a great neighborhood«secret». I ordered the breakfast special and 1 extra chorizo & egg. wow, the tortillas are so soft and light but have the right thickness. The tacos are not small they are portions for a «guy». I had the Moonshine sweet tea. The picante sauce they have is a good hot but flavorful. I recommend breakfast but they have lunch also. I have return to try the enchilada plate. I wish they had dessert.

I’ve been in Corpus for a little over a year, and I have made a habit of stopping at Nano’s as much as possible. Locally owned & operated, I have always had great service and even better food. This isn’t a fancy place, but you can roll in on Sunday morning & eat some of the best barbacoa in the universe… if it’s not already sold out!(It really is that good!)

No more homemade tortillas here! Game over! The homemade tortilla made the taco here almost and now they use store bought tortillas! No, thanks!

New to Corpus. I asked my friends what they would recommend for a Mexican restaurant here. Originally I was wanting something sit down but I read that they had a drive-thru. Being that I was heading to the beach after I thought quick and easy to eat would be best. Pulled up to the drive-thru window, ordered, pulled to the back for pickup. Wait wasn’t to long, and they did have a lot of vehicles out front. Waited roughly 5 – 10 mins. Definitely was worth the wait.

Yummy tortillas but the tacos themselves were just okay and SOGREASY. Here’s what I got: — Chorizo & Egg: Really no flavor. Just a little salt can go a long way, but it was just straight egg and barely any chorizo. The chorizo was minced impossibly small. I might as well of just had scrambled egg. — Barbacoa: Pretty good, but incredibly greasy. It was just pouring out of the tortilla. — Guacamole: It was just mashed avocados. No salt, no cilantro, no lime juice.

If you are taking tacos to go on your out of town, or on the way to the beach, I’d say check this place out. If you’re dining in, I’d go with avoid. The food, for what is, was good. I was taken aback by how dense the in-house flour tortillas were — if you like your breakfast tacos to eat more like a sandwich(in a good way), this might be the place for you in Corpus. I also was happy to have real shredded cheese on my egg and bacon taco, and was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly wet the eggs were. The house hot sauce was also spot on. The migas taco was tasty, but not at all healthy — think baseball nacho chips, halved and then fried in oil before being added to some onions, eggs and tomatoes. The orange juice was bottled, from concentrate, and not sufficiently cold. I’m subtracting stars because the interior ambiance is lacking, and the customer service was similarly poor. The cashier closed out a tab at the drive-thru and then took a new car’s order before even acknowledging our presence. The car got there after we did, so that was doubly irritating. The space was very utilitarian — bald tables, cafeteria chairs, plastics. For an eating out experience, I was left wanting.

I’ve been going to nanos for many years and I think they are going downhill the prices keep going up and the tacos are getting smaller and smaller I would think now that they’ve built a following after all these years they would want to keep it by doing what they’ve been doing now it just seems the almighty dollar is in control !
