I’ve been coming here for years now and it continues to be one of my favorite breakfast spots. The enchiladas suizas are some of the best I’ve ever had and the ultimate omelette is very filling. Definitely try the daily baked banana nut or chocolate muffin while you’re here!

Totally not a fan. Their French Toast tasted awful, like eating paper, and the syrup isn’t real maple syrup it’s that gooey sugar water stuff. The aura is decent but you pre-order and prepay. I wish this wasn’t my first stop in Coronado.

Breakfast is amazing here! And the treats! Anything you get really! The service is also very friendly and excellent in what they do!

Had the California omelet and it was quite good. The potatoes were seasoned well and had a few strips of onion and green pepper to make them more interesting, because lets face it, sometimes potatoes need help. There was also a small croissant-like roll(I didn’t taste butter in the dough) and all satisfied. I was, however, envious of the women next to me who chose chilaquillas verde. I had been wanting to try those for awhile and this should have been the time. Being a northern whitey, I’ve never ventured to have refried beans and tortilla chips as a breakfast and I was really feeling it there, looking at her plate. ha! To address the«bakery» side of the«café», they had these gigantic elephant ear-like crisp creatures in their case the size of Andre the Giants head and I SHOULD have ordered one and WOULD have ordered one if I weren’t so torn over chilaquilles and an omelet and preoccupied with the busyness and lack of seating. «where’my’gna’eat’my fooooood?» See, being self absorbed has it’s downfalls. No gigantic crisped sugar flakey dainty for me! There is no where to pee in there. Fortunately I was a mere block from my hotel, but if I had no hotel nearby, I likely would have chosen elsewhere, ’cause when I need to pee… I’m not the sort to bumble into establishments where I’m not a customer, so it’s good to take care of that human need when you can. Man I must be old with all this pee talk. The place was loaded to the gills on a Sunday morning at 11:30, as were most other breakfast joints we passed. You’re best off doing breakfast here on a weekday.

This spot has inside and outside seating. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The location is right on Orange so it is a nice location to hang out. The menu has a variety with everything from sandwiches to tacos.

Went back to buy some pastries and the experience was a bit less desirable than the first time I stopped in. It was two older men operating the cash register and I gave them my order for pastries 3 times and he kept telling me to slow down. They had a new register and he did not know how to use it. Finally after I paid for everything, they were still not sure which flavors of muffins I ordered so I said just give me whatever. I would recommend going in the morning. I was there right before close around 2:45…and they were rushing to close.

Every server is super-pissed nobody says thank you or welcome or gives you a smile. Baked goods are stale one day old for sure. Table service is bare — no sugar or stirrer have to go get it at the counter — What’s worse is that they use that hatred iPad app that makes you feel bad if you don’t tip upfront for a service you have not received yet. Don’t go there.

Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Open seating in a very small, cozy atmosphere. Order at the counter and the food is delivered to the table. Nice brunch selection on the menu. I’d recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Food is OUTOFTHISWORLD!!! GOOD size portions and very very very tasty! The coconut pineapple muffin is BOMB! Establishment is tight and busy but it adds to the ambiance. Not a real problem, the people are very friendly. We sat next to a local couple that was talkative, informative, and friendly. You don’t have to wait to be seated because it’s an open table type place. Go to the counter and order and if there’s an open table just sit down and wait for your food. The clean up crew is pretty fast. They don’t really take time to talk to you or serve you but it’s not that kind of set up so don’t expect it. Don’t have to dress to impress. Come in shorts or suit or swimsuit. Only 1 real issue… NO bathroom. Hence the 4 stars but DONT let that deter u! Use the toilet somewhere else cause the food is WORTHIT!

Not sure how this is ranked so high, had the eggs and churizo and was not that impressed 14 $ for that and an OJ defiantly not worth the $$.

I have to give kudos for the food and coffee here. Altogether a great breakfast spot on Coronado Island. However, this place has indoor and outdoor seating for at least 30 — 50 patrons, and they have no bathroom for their guests. I asked a wait staff and was directed to go to the Starbucks next door. As a Starbucks shareholder I was furious by this, as I’m sure the Starbucks management is as well; signs on their restrooms said as much. I recently met another nearby shop owner with the same complaint: patrons from Villa Nueva coming in just to use their restroom. I’m having trouble believing Villa Nueva is in compliance with state or local ordinances; regardless they certainly show NO consideration for their patrons! As they say, screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me. I’ll be spending my dining money elsewhere. ..

Entitled staff and poor to mediocre food, croissants from Costco direct to consumer at double the price, grade D meat on their sandwiches, fruit cup composed of 40% honeydew, very low likelihood of return.

Zero complaints! We had breakfast around 7:30 am on a holiday Friday. It started to get crowded around 9, but still tables available/no waiting. You order and they give you a number then bring your food when it’s ready. I’m fine with that… it’s a streetside café, not fine dining. Yes, I agree with a few others that the girl taking the order was a little less than enthusiastic, but order nicely & you never see her again… someone else brought the food. Good menu selection for breakfast — omelets, eggs bene, standard egg/meat combo meal, fresh made pastries & breads. Avocado toast was amazing!!! The smooshed avocado was perfectly flavored for breakfast, it was a good portion and the toast held up nicely to the moisture so didn’t get soggy. I did ask them to go light on the pepper flakes and still had decent heat. I ordered a poached egg and it was the 2nd best poached egg I’ve ever had… YUM!!! also ordered a side of bacon. I thought it was meh, but hubs gobbled it all down so must not have been that bad. If you like old fashioned, diner style, thin, crispy strips with true bacon-y flavor(no apple smoked, no pepper flavor, etc) you’ll probably like it. Hubs had a western omelet… decent size w/large cut veggies. It comes with chunked potatoes(no onions/no peppers) and a croissant. He loved the potatoes and the croissant was«very nice»(his exact words). He didn’t have any jelly to slather in it which would have made it super nice(we didn’t ask for it, I’m sure it was available). Normally he wouldn’t eat breakfast bread without butter/jelly, so «very nice» is a high compliment. He cleaned his plate! The best part is the patio seating… varying sized tables to accommodate different size parties. Tables would be too close for comfort if you ended up next to a noisy, snot-nosed kid, but for adults enjoying breakfast it was perfectly fine. They are dog friendly and have paper doggie water bowls available if you ask.

Delicious chilaquilas and enchiladas de mole. The mole sauce was inspiring. We also had the French toast and double cappuccinos, both were completely on-point. This place is one of Coronado’s best breakfast all-day places. No complaints.

The Chilaquiles are so good! I could it them every day. Perfect balance of salsa verde & sour cream along cotija cheese, topped with grilled chicken and small diced onions with a side of refried beans! So good! Best on the island! HOOO!!! The French Toast… OH!!! SOGOOD! HOO!!! The texture of the bread was on point, perfectly cut and toasted, served with a side of apple pie filling… BOOOOOM! The Mole Enchiladas were also really good! As I ate them, I was taken to an incredible place full of flavor! Fantastic food experience! I will repeat this epic meal in the near future! Ultimate Power Up!

Great customer service, great sandwiches, my favorites are the chicken salad is top notch, coronado club and the blta… drinks are amazing and the coffee is tasty. I love their muffins. Most of the people who work here are family or they have been working here for many years so the consistency is at a high level. Side note: I would avoid going from 1140 – 1215 on when days school is in because most coronado high school kids are at every restaurant on the strip, living off thier parents funds.

My family loves this cute eatery. We tried the tacos last week and had breakfast today! The chilaquiles and the eggs benedict were delicious. We also love that you can eat on the patio and bring your pup!

Charming little eatery. We were able to sit outside with our dog. Ordering takes place at the counter and they bring it out to you. Tasty(and HUGE) omelettes that are cooked perfectly. Not gooey or runny at all. Huge chunks of avocado in the California. Comes with a sinfully delicious mini croissant and country potatoes. A good-sized portion, I couldn’t even finish it. Would like to come back for lunch sometime as the sandwich menu was quite extensive and unique.

Little café in Coronado. I had an amazing ultimate omelet with potato cuts and a mocha. It was really good and filling. The mocha drink was delicious. Friends got sandwiches and omelets and were all happy with what they got. I will definitely go back here.

A nice bakery(though I rarely eat pastries) with 8 or 9 buck sandwiches which come with fruit salad and salad on the side. I had the chicken, jack cheese, shaved carrots and avocado on pita. It was nice. They messed up(sent out another one) and gave me and my friend two free cookies. Only wine is Woodbridge(as bad as Sutter Home) but Pellegrino, soda and various coffees. Next to Starbucks on Orange between 8th and 9th. Nice people.
