Perfect pizza, light on the sauce and thinner crust with super fresh toppings. Plus not only delivering alcohol with the pizza, but delivering to the Strand was much appreciated! Eaten many times on the island and not happy to continue supporting a quality local place with delivery too.

The pizza is awesome and the staff is so friendly! Love that they have a water bowl outside for all the dogs out walking. Great place to go.

Because of a «no white flour» diet, I’ve been missing my pizza, until I discovered that High Tide makes one gluten free. I’ve since ordered two & loved them both. I recommend asking the cook to estimate how long it will take to make, as it may take longer than normal pizza. I’m thrilled to have pizza night back! Thanks High Tide.

How good was this pizza? I joined Unilocal just to write about it. After a long day of travel from Tulsa, we were beat down and bruised. Our driver from the airport recommended delivery from High Tide, noting that I had the look of a man that needed a beer and a «good slice of pie.» Best advice I’ve ever received. The pizza was spectacular; ingredients were top shelf. The large is a large, not a large in the grande coffee sort of way that will make a normal person mad. My kids killed it, and they both ate the crust, which never happens and drives me batty. I asked them to pick an IPA for me and they nailed it, and Mama Bear raved about the wine they picked out for her. This is how you do pizza on the island.

Gross. Seriously. Gross. Worst pizza I’ve ever had. The buffalo chicken was salty and lacking chicken. And buffalo sauce. I’m honestly not sure what was on it, other than salt. The BBQ chicken spice was edible, but barely. I’d give the place a single star on flavor, but the service was superb. Five stars to that guy. It was almost closing, and he was helpful and in a great mood, and I truly appreciate service, so kudos to him. But the pizza was ick.

My go to for a quick bite(or when I don’t feel like cooking). The greek and chopped salads are amazing! They are generous portions with lots of yummy goodies :) A half salad and a slice to go makes for an easy take out meal. Their pizza is good, not great but definitley good. Nice selection of local wines, beer, and liquors too.

I decide to check this place out based on the high Unilocal reviews. Maybe I am a pizza snob, but I do not think it lived up to its 4.5 star rating. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it was bad pizza. In fact, there really is no such thing as bad pizza. Even DiGiorno is not bad. And certainly High Tide was way better than this. But in my opinion, this was average pizza. The thin crust was just a little overdone. The pizza had been sitting there a while and probably should have been heated a little better. If I was walking down Orange Avenue in the future, I would grab another slice. I just would not make this a pizza destination.

Great atmosphere and a great staff. Pizza was really good and prices were very reasonable. $ 4 for a slice(really big pieces) and a drink, $ 7 for 2 slices and a drink. I’d give the cheese 4/5, and the pepperoni 5⁄5. Jerky-like pepperoni.

The pizza is definitely NOT good. Their cheese is clumpy. I could have ignored that however if it wasn’t for the flippant way they messed up my order. I ordered my wings a certain way and the cashier«checked with the chef» to make sure it could be done and confirmed affirmatively. We went ahead and ordered the wings. They come in delivery differently than ordered so I called them back and they decided to tell me that they could only give me what they had in the bag. Ok… I GUESS that’s acceptable but that’s something you need to tell me. Because I wouldn’t have ordered otherwise. I shouldn’t have to hunt for your explanation. There wasn’t even any compensation offered. Waste of 30 bucks.

This is pretty good pizza. It totally is beach pizza, too. Big crispy floppy slices. My favorite is the Great White. It’s a vegetarian with tomatoes an big globs of ricotta cheese. I love it but they don’t always have it and when they don’t they don’t always have a vegetarian option available :(they’re all really friendly here. Usually I get the 2 slice of pizza and a drink deal for $ 6 or whatever but I wish it was still a little bit more affordable so sometimes I have to go somewhere else. This place also have a large selection of craft beers and wines! Recently I seen that they’ve added a shredded ice machine to their establishment, too. I wanna try that because they have a flavor called tiger blood or something and I wanna be fuled with that sugar.

The owner Tom is very friendly and was willing to take time out to have a conversation. As for the pizza, perhaps I should’ve tried one fresh, because the 2 that I tried, I guess we’re already old, and tasted soggy. I will definitely come back to try a fresh slice.

I just ordered the meat pizza for delivery… One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! Crust was perfect… Sauce was perfect and the meat was as fresh as can be! Loved this place!

Skip the wings, get the pizza! Ordered 20″ pepperoni pizza, 10 hot wings and the small garlic knots… the pizza was delicious. thin, quality cheese and pepperoni was extra tasty. Only suggestion I would add for our next time is add extra sauce since it was a bit dry. The garlic knots were a great addition. tasty, but wish they served their marinara sauce hot. now the reason for the 3 stars is the wings. they were fatty, very soggy, sparing hot wing sauce(like literally spotted… it was more of like a dry tomato paste coating on the wings. they are probably baked not fried) and just probably the worse wings I ever had. We just couldn’t eat them. Sorry, but true :/

Great pizza, ended up with a pepperoni and cheese + garlic knots. You can tell everything is fresh. So much flavor and huge slices. I definitely recommend. I give it 4 stars just because the price is steep but you definitely get what you pay for. Freshness, deliciousness and somewhat decent price. $ 28 for garlic knots and pepp pizza. Will definitely come back again

High Tide gets a big 5 from me and here’s why: 1. A rainy, windy vacation night knocked the happy out of going out to eat in Coronado. 2. We were hungry. 3. They delivered to Lowes Coronado Resort! Pizza Marguerita wasn’t Rome, but it was GOOD. Buffalo Wings, spicy and perfect with an awesome dipping sauce, equally GOOD! Spinach and Chopped side salads(one big enough to feed two) were loaded with respective good stuff, dressing amazing. The pizza and wings arrived hot, the salads chilled, complete with set-ups and condiments. Prices more than fair for the quality and quantity that showed up at Room 5113 with a nice delivery guy! Great experience.

I would give this 5 stars if it wasn’t for the steep price. I think a standalone sandwich for $ 13 is unacceptable. It doesn’t even come with anything. I was starving after a 2 hr beach cruiser ride and would have accepted anything, though. I will say that the sandwich was superb. I did the cali club sammie and subbed the aioli for their vinaigrette, delicious. I would eat the sh*t out of another sandwich if I didn’t have to pay so much. They also have a liquor store in the building which is kind of odd.

Best East Coast style pizza in San Diego! Tons of beer and liquor selections(limited on wine), great salads and salad dressings, and«craft» soda on tap.

We ordered two large pizzas and three small spinach salads for dinner last night, and we paid $ 80.00, minus tip. While a bit pricier than anticipated(we are in the middle of a move and I could not get to my stove), the food was positively FANTASTIC and hit the spot after a very long day. We now have enough pizza left over for several lunches, so the price paid was well worth it. All three of us absolutely LOVED the lemon-oregano vinegarette salad dressing. I could drink that concoction straight from the bottle. They ought to sell their salad dressing, it’s that good. Nothing compares to homemade salad dressings. The salads were very fresh and the portions were quite generous. My chopped salad had the tastiest salami in it, and husband and son loved their spinach salads. My son ordered the meat wave pizza(sausage, ground beef, and bacon) while my husband and I shared the sun dried tomatoes-Canadian bacon-mushroom pizza. Both pizzas were extremely tasty. The sun dried tomatoes were particularly yummy and huge. Great job, High Tide! We WILL be back!
