Flowers were delivered and they were already turning brown. After calling the shop, I was told that he would send someone over to pick off the brown petals. that flowers come that way and he would have done it prior to sending the flowers but the flowers would end up too small had he done that. DUH… that means the flowers are dying and not fit to be sold. He sent someone out to pick off the brown petals and she said that the flowers are bought daily at the market but didn’t know when the market buys the flowers…1 day ago, 1 week ago or perhaps 1 year ago! Not worth the $$.

I stopped in here for the first time(despite living in Coronado 10 years), looking for tulips for my wife’s birthday. I had called other florists who said they were out of season. Island Florist said they could get them the next morning by 8:30 am. I wanted to give my wife a couple in the morning and also have a vase at the restaurant we were going to for dinner. He suggested he could hold the tulips in the vase until I was ready to take them to the restaurant. He didn’t ask for me to pay in advance. So I stopped in at 8:30 the next morning. Everything was ready, the tulips were perfect, the little extras in the vase just right. And all with just a great attitude. Definitely my florist from here on.
